MASK
You will need:
1 small tomato
Half a cucumber (strongly recommended, cucumbers are doused in chemicals/fertilizers)
Prep time:
4-6 minutes
Steps:
1. Wash your face with a high quality natural cleanser, using warm water.
2. Massage/lather the soap into your face using a circular motion to more deeply cleanse the skin.
3. Mash the tomato into a pulp – use stainless steel cutlery/cookware.
4. Grate half a cucumber (use the entire cucumber and stir to balance the meat and skin evenly
5. Combine the cucumber and tomato together, mix/stir evenly and apply to your face and leave on for at least thirty minutes
6. Wash off with warm water
Why this works:
Cucumber is largely composed of water and therefore is excellent at hydrating the skin to keep it moisturized and supple.
Cucumber is also rich in:
- Vitamin A to activate skin cell creation and keep cells healthy which help form skin
- Vitamin C to help your body create and maintain collagen, an important part of keeping skin look youthful and healthy.
- Vitamin B1 for improved blood circulation – which helps the skin receive nutrients more effectively and helps to remove
toxins from your skin.
-Potassium and biotin help the skin’s ability to repair damage and prevent infections
