Infoblox Secures Significant Investment from Warburg Pincus
Infoblox, a global leading company in Secure Cloud-Managed Network Services declared that it has received a considerable amount of investment from a leading global private equity firm, Warburg Pincus, which works on growth investing. Infoblox which was acquired in 2016 by Vista Equity Partners (Vista) which a leading investment firm focusing on enterprise software, data, and technology-enabled business, would remain as an investor with Warburg Pincus and Vista equal Partners.
The investment received by Infoblox would help him to increase the rate of growth of its main DDI products a strengthening them as well and also invest in the next generation, cloud-native BloxOne platform that eases down networking and security services for hybrid multi-cloud ecosystems across borderless enterprises through the delivery of scalable and flexible services on top of their BloxOne platform.
According to Jesper Andersen, the President, and CEO of Infoblox, this advanced enterprise was becoming increasingly dispersed with the number of connected devices growing rapidly leading to complications in modern networks. They were excited to have a two-long term investment partners who shared their vision.
Warburg Pincus has invested over $20 billion in technology companies including CrowdStrike, Samsara, Avalara, and many more. One of the firm’s core areas of focus includes supporting the software companies to grow their infrastructure including their recent investment in BetterCloud.
