The process of thinking critically should be made a priority for students of higher education so as to offer the logical training and be prepared to contribute to this world. Experts are of the view that communiqué and collaboration in addition to reflective thinking is going to be an essential asset for the world in near future (Colley, Bilics and Lerch, 2012). Reflective thinking can be categorised by the detailed assessment of problems, concepts, artefacts, and occasional events before articulating a view or assumption about that particular element (Rhodes, 2010). The aim of this report is to discuss the self-evaluation that I have done during the course of this semester. This report will give a detailed account of the things that I have learnt in university like, time management, improving my academic writing, improving my role as team member in a team, reading and learning skills, improving my online skills in addition to enhancing my English reading skills as it is not my first language and it was quite difficult for me to convey my thoughts in written form when I first came here. Time management is very important for me. As a student, it sometimes becomes very difficult to manage time for multiple subjects and this problem affects the progress of the student tremendously. Additionally, the main goals identified in this report are focussing on issues related to academic writing, referencing of sources used for secondary data collection, time management and development of a growth mind-set. This report has also outlined the barriers that I came across while trying to achieve the above mentioned goals. The problems that I was facing during the session were mainly due to my lack of interest in reading extra material apart from course books. I also did not have command over the use of Blackboard and other online resources. My interpersonal social skills were also very poor due to which I usually lagged behind in teamwork projects and it affected my grades. Different strategies aimed at overcoming these problems are also discussed in this report regarding those goals and how can they be achieved which includes attending different seminars and workshops. An assessment of conclusions and reflection on those conclusions are also provided. Conclusion In conclusion, it can be established that the process of thinking critically should be made a priority for students of higher education so as to offer the logical training and be prepared to contribute to this world. For improvement of my reading, I invested extra time in reading books other than course books. Reading newspaper every day became by daily routine which helped me in improving my reading skill. Another important factor for improving my learning skills was to get command over the correct use of internet so as to enhance my learning skills. In this digital age it is not possible to reach the top without have command on the World Wide Web. I needed to learn to search online for the material that was needed for my studies and to complete my assignments. At first it was quite difficult for me to understand, Blackboard, Blackboard Collaborate and other online resources but I managed to work my way through these sources for online data collection for my courses. Another most important aspect that I needed to work on was teamwork. This aspect was important due to the fact that I felt once I graduate from the university, no matter which firm or company I join, I’ll have to work in a team. Keeping this view in mind, I realized that I needed to learn to coordinate with my fellow students and be able to work as a team with them so that I can work on my communication skills and leadership skills. As student, I had to meet multiple deadlines for multiple subjects at the same time, not to mention the quality of the work that needed to be maintained in order to get good grades. In addition to this, I also needed to make time for socialising and extracurricular activities as well. In order to give proper time to every activity, I developed a time table for myself which I followed strictly so that I would not face any problems regarding submissions of assignments and exams in addition to keeping up with other extracurricular activities. Other steps that I took for improving my learning skills included attending different workshops and seminars that focused on discussing issues like language barrier, time management, and public speaking and so on, participating as a speaker on these forums also helped in boosting my level of confidence and helped me in improving my interpersonal skills. Recommendations In order to become a successful university student, I needed to focus on my learning skills so that I could excel as a student in the university and get good grades and be able to pursue a career of my choice. 1. In order to improve my learning skills, I needed to improve my reading skills as English is not my first language. For improvement of my reading, I invested extra time in reading books other than course books. Reading newspaper every day became by daily routine which helped me in improving my reading skill. Reading newspaper every day was another method of improving my reading skill. I added these two strategies of improvement in reading to my timetable. I gave at least one hour to reading a book and half an hour to reading a newspaper every day and it helped me in overcoming this barrier that I was facing due to difference of language. 2. Another important factor for improving my learning skills was to get command over the correct use of internet so as to enhance my learning skills. In this digital age it is not possible to reach the top without have command on the World Wide Web. I needed to learn to search online for the material that was needed for my studies and to complete my assignments. Being able to learn new things on the internet was very significant to my goal of improving my learning skills as there is no information that the internet cannot provide to its users that is why I needed to learn to be able to complete my assignments by using the information available on the internet as almost all the journals, research papers and books are available online these days. At first it was quite difficult for me to understand, Blackboard, Blackboard Collaborate and other online resources but I managed to work my way through these sources for online data collection for my courses. 3. Another most important aspect that I needed to work on was teamwork. This aspect was important due to the fact that I felt once I graduate from the university, no matter which firm or company I join, I’ll have to work in a team. Seeing as I faced the problem of language barrier as English is not my first language, I needed to work on my interpersonal skills and get better at interacting and bonding with the people around me so that it would be easy for me to work as a useful member of the team. For improving my teamwork attitude and skill, I will tried to interact more with my classmates and participate in class discussions with the teacher so that I could develop my confidence for speaking on a public forum. 4. Another aspect that I needed to work on for improving my learning skills was time management. Appendix Learning Goals I Would like to enhance my learning and reading skills Learning Barriers  Not too much found of reading books and only with this only I can improve my learning and thinking skills. * I am also not capable of converting complex sentence of English into simple lines because I am not familiar with English as it is my second language. Improve my online skills like I can do things online for example preparing assignments online, broadening the knowledge by reading many things online  Like to prepare assignment person should have well knowledge about computer. And I am not good in operating these things. Because in India assignments were prepared just with pen and piece of paper no technology was used. I am also interested in gaining team work skills because this the most important part of today’s business world  Everyone in this university is from different part of the world and every one hesitates to share their expressions with others. They only speaks with that person only that belongs to their nation and that is why they become introvert. I am also interested in developing my time management skills   I will be facing problem to manage time for learning these skills because extra readings required to develop these skills because I will be also doing part time job , so I will be having the shortage of time but I will give my best to manage the time in good manner. Strategies and Resources * I will be daily visiting to black board in which I can go through my readings and also from tutorial lectures.  I will be also reading extra books to improve my these skill as I have also added this to my time table.  I will also take help from tutor by making daily appointment with him. By this definitely I will improve in both of the things.  To understand these things, I will attend workshops and in that class only these things are taught that how to use blackboard and steps required to prepare assignments  And at the end of the session I will able to do paperless work and after the completion of my degree I will develop my advance skills with Australian degree to utilise them in multinational companies of country.  If we will work in team we will enhance our knowledge with work persons that belongs to different nation .we can learn many things from them and from their life journey.  By working in teams we develop our extrovert nature like we will not hesitate while giving any kind of interview that can be also for our job  I will learn related subjects to this or degree and also team work to achieve goals in my life  I have developed a time table for myself which I plan to follow strictly so that I do not face any problems regarding submissions of assignments and exams in addition to keeping up with other activities.  Following my time table would help me to get everything done on time and in the best possible manner.
