When conducting Internet Research I use Google Docs to encode the results. I use tables with pictures to show my findings for easy comparison.

Metal braces are made from high-grade
stainless steel and rubber bands are used to
attach the wire. Thankfully, these days, metal
braces are smaller, more comfortable and nicer
looking than in days gone by. Metal braces
now use heat-activated archwires that use your
body heat to move your teeth quicker and with
less pain.
Metal braces are the least
expensive. The o-rings

Ceramic braces are popular with adults. This is
because they are made of translucent material,
which is less noticeable. Some come with toothcoloured wires, which make them even more
appealing.

Self-ligating
braces using
the Damon
System
Traditional braces apply pressure by using orings to push your teeth into position. Damon
braces, on the other hand, don’t use o-rings or
metal-tie wires to hold the arch wires in place.
Instead, they use a sliding mechanism. Though
your teeth are still forced into position, they can
move freely. As a result, you may experience
less pain.
Invisalign
Invisalign uses a series of 18 to 30 mouthguard-like templates (called aligners). These
templates are generated by computer
simulation and can be removed every two
weeks. The Invisalign system is suitable for
adults or teenagers with particular bite
problems.
Retainer
Once you braces come off, you still need to
wear a retainer. if you don't, all the progress
you've made will be wastes as your teeth move

TED TALK- Richard St. John's 8 secrets of success
0:16
This is a really 2 hour presentation I give to high school students, cut down the 3 minutes. And it all started one day on a plane, on my way
to Teds seven years ago. And in the seat next to me was a high school student, a teenager, and she came from a really poor family. And
she wanted to make something of her life, and she asked me a simple little question. She said, “What leads to success?” And I felt really
badly, because I couldn’t give her a good answer.
00:37
So I get off the plane, and I come to Ted. And I think geez! I’m in the middle of a room of successful people! So why don’t I asked them what
helped them succeed and pass it on to kids? So here we are 7 years 500 interviews later, and I’m going to tell you what really leads to
success and makes TEDsters tick and the first thing is passion. Freeman Thomas says, “I’m driven by my passion”, TEDster’s do it for love
they don’t do it for money. Carol Coletta says, “I would pay someone to do what I do”, and the interesting thing is if you do it for love the
money comes anyway. Work, Rupert Murdoch said to me, “It’s all hard work nothing comes easily. But I have a lot of fun”, did he say fun?
Rupert, yes! TEDsters do have fun working and they work hard. I figured they’re not workaholics. They workafrolics (audience laughing)
Good! (Clapping)
01:32
Alex Garden says, “To be successful put your nose down in something and get damn good at it”. There’s no magic; its practice, practice,
practice. And its focus Norman Jewison said to me, “I think it all has to do with focusing yourself on one thing”. And push David Gallo says,
push yourself. Physically, mentally you’ve got to push push push, you’ve got to push through shyness and self-doubt. Goldie Hawn says,
“I always had self-doubts I wasn’t good enough, I wasn’t smart enough I didn’t think I’d make it. Now it’s not always easy to push yourself
that’s why they invented mothers (audience laughing and clapping).
02:07
Frank Gehry, Frank Gehry, said to me my mother pushed me (audience laughing). Serve, Sherwin Nuland says, “It was a privilege to serve
as a doctor”. Now a lot of kids tell me they want to be millionaires and the first thing I say to them is, okay well you can’t serve yourself;
you got to serve others something of value because that’s the way people really get rich. Ideas, TEDster’s Bill Gates say, “I had an idea
founding the first microcomputer software company”, I’d say it was pretty good idea and there’s no magic to creativity and coming up with
ideas. It’s just doing some very simple things and I give a lots evidence.
02:47
Persist! Joe Kraus says, “Persistence is the number one reason for our success”. You’ve got to persist through failure. You’ve got to persist
through crap! Which of course means criticism, rejection, asshole and pressure (audience laughing and clapping).
03:02
So the big and the answer to this question is simple pay four thousand bucks and come to Ted (audience laughing) or failing that do the 8
things -- and trust me these are the big 8 things that leads to success. Thank you TEDster’s for all your interviews! (Audience applause)
FACEBOOK MANAGEMENT
I create and design 5 of my favorite quotes, bible verses or sayings on Canva. I create a Buffer account and schedule to automatically post one daily for the next 5 days.
EXCEL CHARTS I’VE MADE
Sample: My client gave her sales report for the 1st Quarter of 2012.
I create a copy of the Sheet for own purposes. File > Make a Copy
Compute the sales total using a Google Sheets formula.
Presenting data in a Pie Chart, representing the percentage of each sale from each customer. Named: Percentage of Sales by Customer
Presenting the data in a line graph. Label the Y-axis with “Amount Purchased” and the X-axis with “Customers”. Entitle the chart as “Sales Chart for the 1st Quarter”.
EMAIL
EMAIL MANAGEMENT
As per instruction: Create a Gmail account if you don’t have one. For this exercise, you must have at least 10 emails in your inbox. If it’s a new account, forward random mails
from your old email or ask your classmates from the student FB group to email you.
Mark the first email in your Inbox with a Yellow Star.
Mark the second one as Important.
Mark the third one with a Green Star.
Mark the 5th one with a Red Star.
Create a Label called “Course Tasks” and move any 5 random emails in it.
Create a Filter that automatically marks all emails from WFHR.io as Important.
Take a screenshot of how your Gmail looks like. Make sure that the label you created is visible to show your skills to clients. Blur out any sensitive information using a
photo editor.
WORDPRESS
I choose the topic about my favorite restaurant and what’s their best seller.
CALENDAR MANAGEMENT
“Hi, I need a virtual assistant to help me manage my schedule. I’m a writer and also a full-time mom. I’m having a hard time sorting out the things I need done every day.
Everyday during the weekdays, I have to drive Mimi and Pete to school at 9am. Then, I have to go online and complete my writing projects from 10am-3pm every day except
Sundays. I have an article that I must submit before 5pm in 3 days and I’m freaking out! I often get so immersed with writing that I mostly skip lunch. I want to take care of myself
so please remind me to eat at noon.
At 4pm, the kids will be waiting for me at school so I have to be at their school by 3:45pm.
I shouldn’t miss our Tuesday prayer meeting at 8pm. I go to church with my family every Sunday at 9am.
Oh! I also have to call my mom every Friday whenever I’m free.”
Your client lives in New York and is following Eastern Time. Plot your client’s schedule on your Google calendar. To effectively organize her schedule, use different color codes
for her personal, work and church activities. Don’t forget to set a reminder for important tasks!”
