With the coronavirus pandemic that is happening now and is affecting and disrupting our lives, can you still find blessings and hope? How do you see things in these strange times? What might faith look like to you?
This troubling times have accentuated our weakness as humanity. Despite human wisdom, scientific acuity, technological advancement still the world has been brought down to its knees. As I contemplate it led my focus again, to the one who is in control of everything. We must engage ourselves in reading and learning God's Word or scriptures. Reading Bible is vital and a must for me. It enables me to root in the truth of God's faithfulness. His promises bring to light that in HIM we are never abandoned but are held.
WHY READ THE BIBLE?
Nowadays, it is obvious to see bad things happening all around us. But with scriptural beliefs, we can interpret challenges differently. We can see that God is doing something in our situation, sometimes taking away things is actually giving Us something beautiful and eternal - HIMSELF!
Bible is very essentials for knowing God and his will in our lives. It is by reading it that we better understand the scriptures in a " big picture". The Bible reveals to us what kind of God he is to his people. You'll discover that he is God who is Holy, unchanging, faithful, and loving. By reading the Holy Writ you'll be filled anew with authentic hope. We can live the present and look at the future with awareness of his sovereignty and love.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. - Matthew 24:35 The bible warns us that this world will not last forever. This tells us the 'end-times prophecies and the eternal natures of Jesus words' "My words will never pass away" This means that Trusting Christ is wiser than trusting anything in this world.
I strongly urged everyone to take some time to read and explore the bible. May we find confidence and faith, in reflecting God's presence through his scriptures and how he shares our sorrows and suffering and bring assurance of a new life. May we turn our attention to God and his word, which is forever true and forever unchanging. (1 Peter 1:24-25)
