TITLE:
QUALITY IMROVEMENT WITH COST REDUCTION
Objectives:
1. To compare the performance of ALCONOX as a new detergent with presently used EXTRAN
2. To improve the performance and reduce the cost of detergent
Methods :
1.Tested and compared the cuvette blank of both detergent
2. Tested and compared the chemistries on five machines including XL 300, 600, EM 360 and XL 640
3. As a detergent, used 50 gram of ALCONOX in 10 liter DI water and 100ml Extran in 10 liter DI water
for comparison.
4. Tested the hypothesis that 50 gram of the ALCONOX is giving better performance than
100ml. Extran at 5% significance level using stastical Z- test with sample of 120 cuvettes and
T-Test with sample of 30 cuvettes
5. While selecting the sample for stastical inference study,
first 10 cuvettes, then middle 10 cuvettes and last ten cuvettes of RCT table, were considered

Conclusion:
Based on above results we can conclude that ALCONOX can be considered as a better alternative to EXTRAN
due to its best performance at half quantity thus reducing the cost.
