The project consisted in designing a foldable
publication to inform about the history and relevance
of Scottish tartan fabric.

The project consisted in creating an object that could
be used as a Christmas card or gift for B&W’s clients.
My proposal was a paper lantern shaped like a star,
which can serve as an ornament at home or in the
workplace, as a way to give hope in times of uncertainty.

After travelling to Jordan, I challenged myself
to reflect my experience through a series of
experimental engravings and prints, which I put
together in a conceptual book. In this way I was able
to bring together both my graphic arts knowledge
and my design skills.
I N F O GRAP HI C P OSTE RS
Series of four infographics that talk about the
discovery of America, from the events that preceded
it, to the short and long-term consequences of this
extraordinary event.

Designed for the contest ‘My Favourite Word in
English’, organised by the British Council in Mexico.
Each of the letters in the word “Wanderlust”
illustrates a different activity related to wandering,
exploring and travelling.

The task consisted of using information design as a
means to create a set of articles that promote the
intangible heritage of Cri Cri’s songs. We created
postcards with phrases by Francisco Gabilondo Soler,
as well as infographic posters, t-shirts with song
phrases and an information booklet.

The logo design for Quilters de México is based on
the ball game that the ancient Mexican indigenous
civilisations played. The image is versatile and can be
applied with different colours and textures.

Poster design for the theatre play ‘An Enemy of the
People’, where the main character must report the
bad quality of the water in his hometown, dodging the
attempts of the government and the press to keep
him quiet. The programme was designed with the style
of a newspaper, based on the important role that the
press has in the play.

ALTERN ATI V E TO URISM PROJE CT
In order to motivate the citizens of Leeds to explore
their own hometown, I created a map with fun
facts that only a few people know about the city.
A website was also created for the project and a
launching event with different activities related with
exploration, play, curiosity and the city was organised.

Mayra and José Luis asked me to design an invitation
and other objects for their wedding in Xico, Veracruz.
All the design is based on the Totonac elements in
Mayra’s dress.
In order for the invitation to tell the story of how
they met, a pentagonal envelope that unfolded
like a flower was created. Each of the petals slowly
revealed a chapter of their journey until the center
piece –the invitation itself– was reached.

For the 6th Expo Patchwork & Quilt, organised by
Quilters de México for the first time in Mexico City,
a colourful and playful image was designed, based on
the flowers of Xochimilco.

Gift Cube is a new concept based in gifting
experiences, instead of objects. For this, two
packages were designed in the shape of gift
boxes. Each of them contains a publication with
the theme of either entertainment or food. The
booklets explain all the possible experiences that
can be carried out, so that the receiver of the
present can choose the one that interests them
the most, complete a voucher and present it at the
activity’s establishment. I also designed the shelf for
displaying the boxes in supermarkets and shops.
