Sir Tom Jones postpones US tour following medical advice
The 77-year-old Welsh singer suffers from exhaustion and has re-schedulled US
tour for 2018.
Due to an undisclosed illness and following #Medical Advice, 77-year-old #Sir
Tom Jones has cancelled his US #Tour and re-scheduled theconcerts for
2018. The illness has left him unable to perform for the next month and the
singer’s team announced that the gigs needed to be re-arranged only five days
before the tour's first shows in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday
(September 6).
On his website, the Delilah singer apologised to his fans for re-scheduling the
concert dates. Even though the gig will be re-arranged, his admirers will be able
to use their existing tickets for the new dates, which are still be announced by
the singer.
On Sir Tom Jones’ social media accounts, an announcement was made with
the singer stating that, due to medical advice, he will be delaying his US tour,
which was due to start on Wednesday (06/09) in Bethlehem, PA.
Furthermore, Sir Tom Jones wrote the possible months for the rescheduled gigs
could be May and June 2018, and all tickets will continue to be valid for the new
dates, which are yet to be confirmed by the singer.
The singer's team also added that Sir Tom sends his sincere apologies to his
admires and he is looking forward to seeing everyone in 2018. Mr. Jones also
said that in case there is anyone who wants to get a refund they are available at
point of purchase.
According to The Sun, Sir Tom Jones had been dealing with fatigue after
his tour around UK and Europe, which consisted of 26 concerts in 12 different
countries.
Furthermore, the singer has had to deal with the heartbreaking loss of his wife,
Linda, last year.

born June 7, 1940, in Pontypridd, Wales and is very well-known for hitssuch
