SPACE OPERA
We are living in a world that is growing at a very fast pace in terms of technology, science and the discoveries, each day scientists are making new discoveries and inventions on and outside the Earth. The universe which was formed billions of years ago, is still unknown by human race what could be the extend of this, though with the advancement of technology, science and new mechanisms the humans have uncovered the mysteries of the universe, still there is a long way to go.
So, let’s know what is Space Opera? To me or someone out there it may seem like an Opera being played out in space at first insight, but it’s no where around what we are assuming. A Space opera can be defined as space war, hyperbolic experience, a surviving space travel or interplanetary war. It may sound a bit awkward, but we are living in an advanced spectrum of technology and the day is not too far when we may be living in a space opera without even realizing it. There are several movies being produced and presented like ‘Interstellar’ showing that the human life can exist beyond earth, though it’s illusional but what if it could be a reality. ‘The Martian’, a movie which shows that humans can survive on Mars, not just surviving by packed food and oxygen but we can grow Vegetables like potato. Whatever content being displayed in movie with help of VFX and other technology seems illusional to us and it is, but in near future the humans can turn down it into a reality of producing vegetables on Mars, there have been discoveries by scientists of presence of water on Mars.
We humans are in search of other live forms beyond Earth in the universe, there are millions of galaxies in the universe and so can be other life forms which we call them as ‘Aliens’. Several fictional movies like Star Wars exhibit that there are other life forms than humans in the universe and are known as aliens, who are more technically advanced and powerful than us. Let us assume that humans discover aliens and to our astonishment they are technologically advanced than us and that would probably lead to an interplanetary war, which reveals that we might be living in a space opera without realising it.
