Community Active Protection is now embarking in all South African provinces: The “SECURITY FOR ALL CITIZENS,” crime stop campaign. PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 24 January, 2025. JOHANNESBURG, South Africa, 24 January 2025, the Chief Executive Officer (Community Active Protection ZA) announced today- Community Active Protection’s campaign “The Security for all Citizens,” in collaboration with the SAPS (South African Police Service) will undertake in all nine South African provinces. The “security for all citizens” initiative will first take place in Houghton, Johannesburg from January 25 until December 16, 2025, with the purpose of raising awareness about the rise in crime in communities and behavioural change towards crime in society. The security services company’s strategy, is to set a powerful example by placing their most experienced officers in South African communities to fight the disruptiveness of crime. Starting today, citizens of South Africa will have the opportunity to work alongside Community Active Protection: by giving off tips (such as emergency phone calls, voice messages, and location finder apps) to the most wanted perpetrators of crime within their communities. According to the South African Police Service Department: crime in South Africa has risen by 75% from the previous year.
