The Deep Blue AI system, which beat Garry Kasparov in 1997, is a prime example of a reactive machine. But there are several other types of AI. One example of a reactive machine is AlphaGo, a computer program developed by Google that can perform a Go game without human input. In the future, AI may be able to learn from its mistakes and use that knowledge to solve new problems. Turing's theory didn't come to fruition. The paper was a major setback to AI development because the computers of the 1950s were not modern enough to store commands. Thus, they could only execute commands that were given to them. In 1956, the term 'artificial intelligence was coined by computer scientist John McCarthy. Machines with limited memory In the future, machines with limited memory may replace humans in some tasks, such as driving. Self-driving cars have limited memory and use recent data to make decisions. But they don't have enough memory to generalize from their experiences to future tasks. Thus, they're not able to predict future behavior, which is a major limitation for many applications. However, the future of self-driving cars may be bright if these AIs eventually become commonplace. These machines are reactive and do not use their past experiences to improve their decisions. The development of a theory of mind can take many forms. For example, a self-aware artificial intelligence will possess human-level consciousness. But before it can achieve this goal, it must understand consciousness itself and replicate it. This may be an extremely complex task, requiring extensive research into how consciousness works.
