Panublix Co-organizes “Slow Yarn” Workshop
On July 30 and 31, 2022, Panublix held Slow Yarn, a 2-day workshop on crocheting, sustainable fashion, and mindfulness that
celebrated handmade arts and promoted an eco-conscious way of life. As a tech platform that connects designers with tropical
textiles and yarns, Panublix organized this event in collaboration with YSEALI, Welby, and The Attic Yarn & Craftery.
Slow Yarn welcomed members of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) from all over South Luzon. As part of the
U.S. government's signature program for leadership development and networking in Southeast Asia, YSEALI members were
invited to get in touch with their creativity in-person and remotely.
Day 1 of Slow Yarn featured a Crochet 101 workshop led by Ceryl Tubungan of The Attic Yarn & Craftery in Marikina, where
participants learned how to crochet using Panublix cotton crochet yarns . . .

Unlocking Climate Action:
5 Earth Month Strategies for Engaging Your Workforce
What if every employee in your organization could be a driving force for climate action? The truth is, they already want to make a
difference. A recent survey indicates that 83% of the workforce are eager to contribute, but fewer than half feel empowered to
act. Times have changed and sustainability is no longer just another corporate goal; it's a shared responsibility that every person in
your organization can — and wants to — buy into.
Earth Month offers the perfect opportunity for sustainability professionals to bridge the gap between awareness and action,
empowering your team to integrate climate solutions into their daily work and life. At The Carbonauts, we've seen this firsthand
through decades of experience and insights from dozens of professionals worldwide whom we’ve worked with, interviewed, and
advised. With that in mind, here's how to turn every job into a climate job — boosting employee satisfaction and accelerating
progress toward your organization's climate goals at the same time . . .

Climate Anxiety Is Affecting Your Workforce. Here Are
5 Effective Ways to Address It.
After a summer rife with wildfires, heat waves, and flooding, the effects of climate change are becoming increasingly relatable and
tangible to us all. If you've ever found yourself experiencing fear, guilt, anger, frustration, or helplessness about our changing
environment, you are far from alone. This well-documented mental health phenomenon has come to be known as “climate anxiety.”
In a comprehensive poll conducted by Ipsos, more than half of all people polled from 31 countries worldwide report that they
worry regularly about climate change. Globally, there is also strong agreement on the need for corporate action, with a substantial
68% saying that businesses that are not actively working to combat climate change "are failing their employees and customers."
With depression and anxiety increasingly affecting well-being in the workplace, leading to trillions in lost productivity, recognizing
how eco-anxiety is impacting the workforce is critical to supporting staff well-being, building a corporate culture of sustainability,
and also creating business growth. Here’s how proactive organizations can tackle this issue, empower and support employees, and
even boost the bottom line by considering the intersection of sustainability and well-being.

Testimonials
Meaghan O’Neill, Director of Content at The Carbonauts
"For the past few years, Kate reported to me at The Carbonauts, a remote, asynchronous, startup environment,
where she contributed to content projects with enthusiasm and care. She brought a strong interest in sustainability
to the work and showed a willingness to learn and adapt to constant – and often unpredictable – challenges.
Kate reliably met deadlines, communicated clearly across time zones, and made a consistent effort to stay
connected with our team — no small feat given the constraints of a fully remote, global staff.
Since we first began working together, she has developed her skill set in copywriting and marketing content and
become familiar with a wide range of digital tools and workflows. Kate is organized, proactive, and eager to
contribute, making her a solid addition to any content team."
Let’s work
together!
