Strategic Finance Leadership – Women Enterprise Fund As Manager of Finance and Administration. • • • • • I oversee the Fund's financial operations and administrative systems in my capacity as Manager of Finance and Administration. I oversee resource planning, reporting, and budgeting while maintaining compliance and value-for-money standards. Principal Contributions: Oversee the coordination of performance-based work plans and annual budgets. Fund resources are strategically invested, and cash flow planning is guided. Support the Fund's Advisory Board with advice, reinforced internal control and administrative procedures. 2. County Budget Oversight – Office of the Controller of Budget As the County Budget Coordinator. • I handled withdrawals, examined the effectiveness of the county budget, and made sure that authorized spending caps were followed. • I was a key player in the public accountability and financial oversight systems. • Creating quarterly budget implementation reports for county assemblies was one of my main contributions. • Oversaw monthly spending returns for correctness and compliance; conducted variance analysis between planned and actual expenditures; and facilitated county-level public involvement forums on budget use. 3. Financial Reporting & Control – Kenya Rural Roads Authority In my capacity as a regional accountant, • I oversaw monthly reconciliations, kept accurate financial records, and assisted with audit procedures. • I kept up with the regional asset register and helped with the creation of regional projections. Principal Contributions: In order to support financial decision-making, timely management reports were produced. • Monthly audits and reconciliations were put into place. -ready timetables • Tracked working capital and liquidity requirements • Assured adherence to tax laws and accounting standards 4. Early Career Foundation – Bamburi Beach Hotel • I gained practical knowledge in cost control, procurement verification, and ledger updating from my work as an accounts assistant. This served as the basis for my move into finance positions in the public sector. Principal Contributions: • Oversaw the ledgers for creditors and debtors. • Oversaw the F&B department's cost controls and confirmed the quantity and quality of the goods received.
