Las Palmas Country house
COUNTRY HOUSE PROYECT
(Girardot-Colombia)
Design Architect
Located at 3 hours from Bogota in the tropical climate
of Girardot (32°avg.) the country house Las Palmas was
designed with a sense of openness and an integration
with nature, inspiration came from the old colonial
houses on the coast of Colombia in which the green
is the center part of the house, and these spaces
emerge in various corners of the house.
My intention was to feel the green emerging from
the house when you look from the outside,
and the house itself being sort of camouflaged by
the amount of green. The two house modules are
joined by a corridor covered by a bamboo pergola,
and surround the pool and jacuzzi.
The main module opens up completely doubling its
social space and integrating the pool and social area.
