Fryer Review_201611
Do you love cooking? Well I do, I usually cook anything I can get my
hands on, veggies, poultry, beef. Every dish though needs a certain
cookware to be used. Having a lot of frying pans and pots with different
sizes and different uses are in my kitchen. Bulky and a lot to clean
especially if you’re cooking 2 or 3 dishes every meal. Until I found this
wonderful cooking utensil which not only saves space, but also does a lot
than what it looks like. The Presto 06003 Options Electric
Multi-Cooker/Steamer is made by North American Electrical Standards.
It is said that you can use it for cooking fried, steamed and roasted
dishes, even stews. And most of all, a high percentage of people who
bought these product, ended up being happy with it.
Aside from the things I’ve written that it can do, It is dishwasher safe as
long as you remove the Masterheat control. Putting it in the dishwasher
or cleaning it manually is just a breeze to do. The Masterheat control
let’s you cook your food with the right amount of heat needed for the
food to be cooked, which means no over cooking your food and no
uncooked food either. It’s heavy aluminum body which has a non stick
feature really is unique, and I’m not talking about just a non-stick pot,
it’s non-stick inside and out. It has a basket which you can use for
steaming and deep frying, just lift it and you leave all the oil on the pot
and not in your food. Fry your chicken, french fries or waffle fries if you
want. The possibilities are endless. With it’s heavy body, using it all the
time isn’t a problem if we are talking about durability. With all these
functions said, I would add that it’s very easy to use.
With all these features at hand, I’m assuming a lot are happy using this
product so I checked it out. A lot of people who purchased it said that it
really stands up for what it’s advertised for. You really can stew, steam,
fry, make some soup or even cook rice with this thing, which is really
astounding. The masterheat control really does work well when it comes
to maintaining the heat. Aside from that, it is a good thing that you can
detach and attach it anytime, just in case an emergency occurs like if the
oil is too hot and you suddenly pour stuff onto it to be cooked, it does
sometimes occur that due to a large batch of food that was put in for
frying, the oil would boil up and you’ll have hot oil spilling out of the pot,
detaching the control really is a big help if such things would happen.
Aside from that, it won’t cost you an arm to purchase this wonderful
cooking tool. Well if there are happy customers, there are always people
who will complain with almost anything. With this product, the only cons
that I’ve seen so far is some people originally bought it as a fryer but
ended up eating steamed food since it is nicely done in this thing(this
doesn’t sound a con right?). Okay, let’s go to the real complaining. Some
consumers said that It works well but is really slow to heat up to 400 F.
The assembly is quite basic but elderly people would have a hard time
doing it. The lid becomes unstable when the strainer is in it’s place. The
handle of the strainer gives you a hard time to be removed and it can’t
be folded. Another one is the strainer is thin. Most of all, it’s too small
and not recommended if you’re cooking for a family with 6 to 7 people
who have twice the appetite.
So far, around 90 percent of consumers are happy with this product, I
happened to read some of them. Some of them have been using their
units for years now and they still can use it the way they did when they
first purchased it. Others even purchased a second one after losing their
previous unit. I mean, if this product is a dud, why would you purchase it
again right? Other consumers are talking about the quality of food they
are getting with this superbly made cookware. They did anticipate things
would go well but they received great quality of food, steamed food
wasn’t soggy or over-cooked. Deep fried food wasn’t soaking wet with
oil and it is fried to perfection. Others purchased it just because they got
a cookware challenge from friends who recommended it to them, being
skeptical at first, they ended up loving the product. Others reported that
it really can do anything except for ice cream of course. But what’s really
surprising is I have read of a consumer who tried to do yogurt and it did
work. Though she made some adjustments like putting cotton
potholders underneath the glass bowl. I really got shocked with this one.
With what I’ve read on what consumers had experienced with this
product, My verdict is.. You really must have one! First of all, the price is
really insane. With just a $30 price, look at what you are getting. I would
say when it comes to price and what this product has to offer, the
competition would go crazy on how they would compete with it. With
the ton of things you could do with this thing, it really is worth to buy it. I
would probably buy one for myself and just throw away my rice cooker.
Well all it does is cook rice, while this baby does everything. Though I
really don’t clean things on the dishwasher, the dishwasher safe feature
won’t add a value for me. But for people who clean with dishwashers,
this feature helps a lot. For it’s design, weight and space that it takes up.
I have no problem regarding those. I do love using heavy stuff in the
kitchen since heavy means good quality for me. And about how much
food you can cook, there won’t be any problem since I love cooking, I
can always cook another dish after I’m done with the first one. So with
that all said, I would definitely recommend grabbing one while it’s still
available.
