Roadtrip Travel Plan Northern Luzon Origin : Angeles City Pampanga DAY 1 – Angeles to Banaue Approx. 7 hrs Drive ( Better leave early morning ) Places to visit in Banaue: 1. Banaue Viewpoint Terraces Banaue Viewpoint Terraces is where you should go if you want to capture the best perspective of the rice terraces. You can also found some shops selling souvenir items like wood carving and hand crafted stuffs. It lies at 4 kilometers along the road from Banaue town center going to Bontoc. 2. Tam -an Village Tam-an Village is located behind the Banaue Hotel. It is a village of weavers producing traditional clothes. They are also selling different kinds of wood carving and weaved products you can have as a souvenir. Day 2 : Banaue Go to BATAD to hike and see the Batad rice terraces and the villages. The trek starts in the highway. The trail to the peak is beginners level. I recommend you get a guide and you can book it directly in Sagada Municipal tourist center ( day before ). Or there are locals there in the starting point of the trek who are willing to guide you with a fee. After Malboro Hills , drive to Baguio City ( approx 3-4 hrs drive ) Places to visit in Baguio 1. Strawberry Farm at La trinidad Benguet – You can pass this from Sagada before you reach Baguio. 2. Tan-awan Village 3. Burnham Park - consists of twelve (12) cluster areas where everyone can wander around and enjoy the mesmerizing sights along with the cool mountain breeze of Baguio. There’s the Sunshine Park, Pine Trees of the World, and of course, the famous Burnham Lagoon which is the main attraction of the park. Here you can rent rowboats and cruise around Burnham Park’s beautiful man-made lake! 4. Baguio Botanical Garden 5.
