Subject: Do “good” bacteria prevent disease?
Hi [first_name],
Recent studies show certain types of beneficial bacteria that live in your gut can
block the effects of a high-salt diet. These bacteria help keep your blood pressure
at healthy levels.
As it turns out scientists are learning that there are more strands of good bacteria
that live in your body than there are stars in the night sky. When these bacteria,
collectively called the Microbiota, become unbalanced it can lead to all sorts of
nasty health conditions.
What to do: Limit your excess salt intake. Eat more natural yogurts and fermented
foods like brine pickles, kimchi, and sauerkraut. These foods contain many of the
helpful strains called probiotics. If you supplement with a probiotic then make
sure it's high enough quality to ensure the bacteria are actually alive.
For millennia when we spent most of our time indoors, we limit our exposure to
sunlight that helps produce vitamin-D that plays a crucial role in hormones that
regulate mood. Also, not spending time outdoors and living and working in an
overly sterile environment prevents us from being exposed to helpful bacteria
that work to control our body systems and keep us healthy.

Subject: Are antibiotics sabotaging your health?
Hi [first_name],
While antibiotics have been the weapon of choice for decades to treat deadly
infections they act by indiscriminate killing all the bacteria they come in contact
with. This can lead to added complications.
Studies are showing that imbalances in the Microbiota, bacteria in your gut, is
leading to a long (and ever-growing) list of diseases these any many others.

The good news is these discoveries lead to new and simple treatments for
so-called incurable diseases. Even better you can influence the health of your
Microbiota by what you expose yourself to.
What to do: When considering antibiotics, consult your healthcare professional,
and ask about the potential hazards of their use, namely how they may adversely
affect the good bacteria in your body.

Subject: Is your job shortening your life?
Hi [first_name],
Studies are showing that the stress you experience at your job just might be
shortening your life.
Job strain, social environment, and emotional distress has been shown to produce
certain hormones in your body and inhibit the production of others.
What to do? Invest in your education. Studies show there is a correlation between
education and job happiness. Regular cardiovascular exercise not only
strengthens your muscles, especially your heart, but it also reduces stress
hormones and causes the release of hormones that improve your emotional
well-being and resilience to stress.
One of the best remedies is to prioritize your life over your job. Striving for a
healthy work-life balance helps you become the best version of yourself. You'll
improve your job productivity and your quality of life.

Subject: Is your mobile device killing you?
Hi [first_name],
A new medical condition, so-called electrohypersensitivity, is being diagnosed
from chronic exposure to the radiation produced from mobile phones, WIFI
signals, and computers.
Typically, these people suffer from issues that lead to "itching, pain, and heat
sensations," or "heart and nervous system disorders."
The US government conducted a comprehensive study that showed exposure to
cell phone radiation increases the chances of developing "rare brain and heart
cancers."
A US Patent (#6,506,148) filed in 2003 claims “It is therefore possible to
manipulate the nervous system of a subject by pulsing images displayed on a
nearby computer monitor or TV set.”
Two Neuroscientists show that blue light produced by mobile devices, monitors,
and televisions negatively affect health and sleep patterns.
What to do: Limit your exposure as much as possible. Use a Bluetooth headset as
it emits less radiation and helps you put distance between your brain and your
mobile device. Use a blue light filter on your mobile device as the sun begins to go
down. Don’t use a television or computer monitor from dusk until dawn.
Mobile devices, WIFI, and computers are useful, and they help make our lives
easier. We just need to make sure that they are also healthy.
