How to Upload Custom Logo in Shopify
This procedure will show you the step-by-step process on how to upload a custom logo
to a Shopify store.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. First, you need to click “Sales Channels” found on the left hand side of the
screen.

2. Once done, click on “Online Store” just below the “Sales Channels.”

3. Your “Online Store” menu will appear. Click on “Themes.”

4. Once you click on “Themes,” “Customize theme” button will appear on the right
hand side of the screen. Click “Customize theme.”

5. Once done, your theme options will appear on the right hand side of the screen.
Click on “Header.”

6. “Header” menu will appear then click “Choose file” under “Custom logo.” Your
computer files will appear. Choose from the files and click “Open” to upload.
NOTE: You may upload your logo in jpeg format, gif format or png file format but
it is advisable to use a PNG file. Make sure that your logo is also transparent so that it
can effectively sit on the background of your website.

i. Once done, your logo will now appear under “Custom logo.” If you’re not
satisfied with the logo, you have an option to “Replace” and “Disable” it.

ii. If you’re satisfied with your chosen logo, make sure that the “Use a custom logo”
box is checked. Underneath your “Custom Logo,” make sure that “Custom logo
width (in pixels)” is at 450.

8. Once done, click “Save” at the bottom part of the screen for the changes to take
effect. That’s how you upload a custom logo in Shopify!

9. Once your custom logo is saved, click “Back to Themes page.”
