In July 2025, I began offering unpaid Amazon
PPC and listing optimization support to Plugin
Earth Company, a newly launched EV charger
brand on Amazon India. I supported them for
over two weeks, helping structure their
advertising from scratch while gaining realworld experience.

AMAZON PPC
SUPPORT
WHERE THEY STARTED – NO
STRATEGY, NO EXPERIENCE
Before I joined, Plugin Earth Company had no prior experience with
Amazon Ads. Their entire launch was built using ChatGPT,
including:
Product listing copy
Keyword research
Sponsored Products campaign structure
They had no understanding of:
Match types or campaign segmentation
Search Term, Placement, or Performance reports
Keyword Research
Ad budget control

THE RESULTS BEFORE I JOIN
LOW CVR
EXCESSIVE USE OF
IRRELEVANT KEYWORDS,
WHICH ONLY INCREASED AD

MY CONTRIBUTION:
PPC RESTRUCTURE +
LISTING OPTIMIZATION
Campaign Changes:
Paused the original campaign
Created 3 leaner, focused Sponsored Products
campaigns:
a. Auto campaign – keyword harvesting
b. SKC Exact match: “EV Charger”
c. SKC Exact match: “EV Car Charger”
Listing Optimization:
Rewrote title, bullets, and product description
Replaced AI-style text with comparison-driven
content
Analyzed competitors to highlight Earth
Company’s true differentiators
Recommended adding visual content to the A+
section (currently text-only)

PERFORMANCE SUMMARY
PERFORMANCE SUMMARY
THIS CAMPAIGN HAS HAD GOOD SALES FOR THE ONE WEEK RUN ESPECIALLY BOTH THE
PRODUCT AND THE STORE ARE NEW, BUT THE ROAS IS 2.70, WHICH I THINK IS AVERAGE
BECAUSE ANYTHING ABOVE 4 IS CONSIDERED BETTER
SUGGESTED TOOL:
HELIUM 10
The company currently does not use Helium 10, which can help improve keyword research,
listing optimization, and product targeting. I suggested it to them, and they are now
considering purchasing it
My Suggestion
Invest in Helium 10 to support:
• Keyword research using Cerebro and Magnet
• Listing optimization with Scribbles
• Product targeting using the Xray browser extension
• Basic campaign setup with Adtomic or Helium Ads
Confidence to Use
While I do not have hands-on experience yet, I have created my own reviewer for each tool
with step by step guides and images. I am confident I can use it effectively once it becomes
available.
SUGGESTED STRATEGIES
1. Starter bidding computation
Starting Bid Calculation: Starting Bid = Target ACoS × (Product Price × Conversion Rate)
Bid Adjustments: Review and adjust bids up to 2 times per week, within a 20–30% range if necessary.
2. Daily budget computation
Monthy sales = target roas*target revenue
15% below is a good ROAS
Example: We have a revenue of $15k last month so we want to target $16k this time
0.15*16,000 = $2,400 monthly budget
2400/31days = $77 daily budget for all campaigns
3. Use Broad match modifiers
Match Type: Broad
Format: +keyword1 +keyword2
Example: +ev +charger (use this)
Negative Keywords: Regularly add irrelevant or underperforming terms as negatives.
Bidding Strategy: Dynamic Bids – Down Only
MY UPCOMING STRATEGY: PRODUCT TARGETING
I’m preparing Product Targeting for the next campaigns with four key approaches:
Lower-Rated ASINs
Target competitor products with lower review
ratings
Focus: Leverage stronger perceived value
Bid Strategy: Exact match, Down Only, up to 10 ASINs
per campaign
Higher-Priced ASINs
Target products priced higher than ours
Focus: Position as a more affordable alternative
Bid Strategy: Same structure (Exact + Down Only)
ASINs Missing Key Features
Target competitors lacking features our product
has
Focus: Emphasize our product’s advantage
Max 10 ASINs per campaign
Self-Targeting (STPP)
Target our own ASINs to defend product detail
pages
Prevent competitors from stealing traffic
