Introduction
Welcome to my product design engineering portfolio!
With 20 years of experience, I specialize in creating innovative solutions using
SolidWorks and CATIA V5, adhering to strict engineering standards.
My expertise includes designing 3D models of molds and dies for carbon fiber
wheels, assembling components, and producing precise 2D drawings with
accurate dimensions and tolerances.
I have also led the end-to-end development of front and rear wiper systems from concept to mass production - delivering detailed designs that meet
customer requirements with on-time delivery and exceptional quality.

II. Automotive Parts Designed Using Catia V5 (Mass Production Level)
a. Assembly
The customer provided the vehicle body data. From this body data, I
positioned and designed the components that fitted the allocated space. In
addition, the parts satisfied the internal criteria as well as customer specification.

d. Drawings
Prepared Trial Production drawings to initiate tooling and request for samples.
Refined the drawings with necessary design changes after sample validation. Upon
successful inspection and trial assembly, released the finalized drawings for
production.

III. “A” Surface Modeling Using Catia V5
For parts that can be seen from outside, I ensured that the outmost surface or the “A”
surface was smooth and satisfied customer criteria with respect to aesthetics. I
checked the surface quality using the lightning or porcupine tool.

IV. Strength Analysis Using Catia V5
Parts were optimized until strength were OK. This saved production cost and time
while ensuring production quality.

V. Conversion from Scanned Actual Part Using Onshape
a. Parts and Assembly
- Reconstructed the components of a voice processor musical instrument based
on 3D scan of the actual part.
- Created a complete assembly of the product.

VI. Others: Concept Design
a. Air Mattress Vending Machine Using Catia V5
- Submitted a concept design to one of the customer from a freelancing job. The
idea is when a passenger wish to sleep/rest while waiting for the flight or even
worst stranded in an airport, the passenger can rent or opt to buy an air mattress
in a vending machine.
How does it work?
- Pay in cash or credit in the Bill Acceptor
- Air mattress will be inflated and exits via
the air mattress out
- After use, you may return the deflated
mattress in the return bin

b. Waffle Cutter Using SolidWorks
- Submitted a concept design to one of the customer from a freelancing job. The
idea is to easy cut the waffle into cubes without using a bread knife. Safe and easy
to use even by kids.

c. Steel Rack Using SolidWorks
- Submitted a concept design to one of the customer from a freelancing job.
The customer requirement is to design a rack where the operator will have the
minimal movement from transporting the steel rod from the storage to the cutting
area. As shown in the design below, the steel storage was designed just above the
cutter.
