“Your Passion will lead you to your Purpose!”
Have you already determined your skills or something you are good at?
When we are still a child, we tend to get curious about everything we see, touch,
or hear. Nobody told us to do things like that or like this. It is our freedom to do
whatever we want as long as we are happy doing it with ourselves or someone
else. The good thing was, if we didn’t feel like doing it, we would not just continue
doing it again. It is not something to lose, or no guilt was involved. Do you already
know your passion? Did you ever search for it? Or did you practice doing it?
Does it really make you happy?
In life, we constantly search for the things we like or love. Not just for
the things we want but doing such things that could make us happy and alive.
Thus, we tend to explore, try new things, experiment, or look for them. However,
some trials or hindrances stop us from pursuing those things. Some common
examples include not getting support from our loved ones, lack of confidence,
not having enough money to buy such, failures, and many more. There is also
one question that commonly pops out, like “where will I start?” “How can I do
this?” “Does it really suit me?”. Sometimes, these questions will make you feel
less of a person because of the fear of not making it or becoming a failure. But
this is the point; we need to experience hardships in order for us to grow and
eventually find the things we are passionate about. As long as you are ready to
accept it and try, you will discover more about yourself and what you are capable
of. Aside from that, people don’t recognize themselves as passionate about the
things they do because for them, it is just a hobby. There is a difference between
the two since a hobby is something you do for fun or it’s just temporary, while
passion is something you would like to do constantly.
I also struggle with the things I like and dislike. When I was a child, I
experienced attending dance workshops, piano lessons, guitar lessons,
swimming lessons, ballet dance, summer classes, and other workshops. As I get
to explore more about my skills or talents, I still feel I don’t fit in any of them.
Although I get to enhance and discover more about myself, it does not make me
happy at all. Maybe at some point, I really wanted to pursue my dancing. I
entered competitions until my high school years. But as time goes by, it feels like
I don’t want to do it anymore. That is why I am learning and trying something
for the first time right now. Recently, I am so interested in becoming a virtual
assistant. Since I did not finish college yet, I still enrolled myself at a
training/workshop company, even if I didn’t have any idea at all. But, it does not
mean I am not capable of. I am so passionate about learning and how to become
an excellent virtual assistant, regardless of my educational attainment,
experience, and my age. Most importantly, my goal here is to show other people
that age, educational attainment, and less experienced are not an excuse to do
great things, and this is my purpose. I know this may sound impossible, but as
long as I believe there is something I am good at and I am passionate doing it, I
will achieve more extraordinary things. Another goal is to help other people by
offering my skills and abilities. Since then, I have loved to edit posters or videos,
but I only know the basics. That is why I am eager to learn more and expose
myself to this kind of work.
