2 Fitness Mistakes You Are Could Be Making
November 20th 2019
Dear Alex,
Are these mistakes the reason your not seeing progress?
People come to me all the time with saying their results have either stalled....or never started.
When your putting in the work to see minimal or zero changes in the mirror, it can be frustrating.
However, the fix can often be quick and simple…
Here are the 2 most common mistakes you may currently be making.
1) Your diet is not tailored to your individual needs.
2) Your stuck in Homeostasis.
“Your Dietary Needs”
You see, every human has different dietary needs.
Some people can’t digest gluten or dairy - Some people can.
Some people are sensitive to carbs - Some are not.
In order to determine which foods you should be eating you must perform a biofeedback test.
Essentially you need to strip away the common foods which cause people problems.
And, slowly reintroduce them back into your diet.
Common problem foods are Gluten, Dairy, Soy and all junk food.
The goal is to determine which foods YOU as an individual perform optimally on.
“You are stuck in Homeostasis”
After going to the gym for a while, you’ve probably built up a pretty nice routine.
You might start with the weights, move onto the elliptical and then hop into the sauna.
Have you ever heard the saying “Everything works, until it doesn’t” - this is true with working out.
After awhile your body gets accustomed to the resistance placed upon it and therefore doesn’t need
to progress. Hence, your progress STOPS.
This is why every time you train you must do so in a “progressive overload” styled manor.
Squatted 135lbs last week? This week squat 140lbs.
Bench Pressed 225lbs for 8 reps? Next time shoot for 10 reps.
By doing this you force your body to change so it can keep up with the new demand.
There are certain guidelines that everybody should follow.
