Nate Diaz, who is an American MMA star, recently signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He may not be an active competitor. Before signing with the UFC, he competed in Strikeforce, Pancrase, and World Extreme Cagefighting.
He joined UFC after the victory of The Ultimate Fighter. UFC 230 which took place on November 3 in New York, lost the fight that might have been an unexpected matchup of the day. That fight was between Dustin Poirier and Nate Diaz. Dustin Poirier was imposed from the card with an invisible injury.
In 2016, there held a match between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz, and unfortunately, Nate lost. Nate received a lot of encouraging calls for the 3rd match on short notice.
At UFC 229 there held a savage affair in which there was another fighter named Tony Ferguson who was forced to fight on short notice instead of Diaz. McGregor and Ferguson are amazing competitors with Diaz who is famous as a BJJ practitioner.
Diaz is a kind of fighter who always has more than one strategy. If one game plan fails he uses plan B, he is not a single-dimensional fighter. Diaz never ignored anything, he used to take everything seriously.
At UFC-118, a young, bold, valiant, and fearless 23 years old Diaz was raised in power and had taken down Melvin Guillard and Rory Markham. He lost three of his last five fights that’s why was not in a good state. He tried a lot to deal with the situation but vein then he answered the call to manage the ‘Irish Hand Grenade’ boxer named Marcus Davis. Before being a part of the MMS fraternity, Marcus was already an experienced and best professional fighter in the UFC.
Out of total 20 professional boxing matches he played in his life, owned victory in 17 matches. Marcus has an impressive record.
In 2000, 27 years old Davis changed his career and followed another challenge. Marcus was a contestant of the MFC, Bellator MMA, The Cage Fury Fighting Championships, and The Ultimate Fighter 2. He is the pride of the North East, the fight at UFC-118 which was in Boston which seems to be a great fight. Nate Diaz and Marcus Davis have verbally agreed to fight at UFC-118 in a welterweight bout. Boston crowd was in the support of “The Irish Hand Grenade” which meant that Diaz would have an extra lifeline to secure himself. Both fighters came in front of each other and began to bounce and test each other.
Diaz was impressive with his long reach but Davis had the hardest punch. In the first round, they were both fighting well. As the battle progressed, Diaz's precision was improving with every shot he threw. Davis was having a tough time in front of Diaz, as Diaz was in his form and hitting him very hard with accuracy. Diaz punched his right eye so badly that it was hard to handle. A huge mass of clotted blood is formed around Davis's right eye which not only looked horrible but also was a mess that was affecting his performance. As the third round began, Marcus was visibly tired. Now Diaz started mixing up his punch. Davis falls down with a swollen right eye.
Diaz then managed to maintain a good posture on Davis to set up a guillotine. So due to a guillotine choke in the third round, Davis lost at UFC-118. He won three times in his past four fights and it was his fourth time to receive “Fight of the Night Honors”. Nate Diaz is always determined and ready to fight no matter who the opponent is.
