Executive Summary
Creativities and Innovations with advancement and technology have been changing the world for decades. They take the organizations to the new heights by implementing new ideas. Adaptability and change sometimes become difficult for the people but most of the time the change inspires them.
This report presents the importance of creativity and innovations and also discusses the Journey of Nestlé to achieve the milestone of being the largest company in the world through creativities and innovations. This document also discusses the barriers comes on the way of new ideas and their implementation and the risk & benefits associated with innovations.

INTRODUCTION
Nestlé is a food and beverage company, having a product portfolio of more than two thousand brands. It is the world’s largest company and has spread his business around 187 countries. Nestlé was formed in 1905 by the merger of Anglo-Swiss Milk Company. Nestlé believes in value creation through new ideas, differentiation, and bringing solutions to customer questions. Nestlé is famous for its quality, operational efficiency, and allocating resources wisely with discipline and clear priorities.
Nestlé has been committed to expanding its product base through continuous creative and innovation management. In spite an immense economic pressure, Nestlé has been striving for consumer centricity with its continuous improvement by product launches and digitalization in the business process. Nestlé is the first food company that developed blockchain technology.
Advancing toward sustainability, the company utilizes the best technologies to reduce and recycle waste and mitigates negative factors of climate change. Through its continuous science research and creative ideas, Nestlé is converting complexities into simplicities in its all business processes.

Several beverage companies are accelerating fast towards innovation with the pace of technology advancement. Many renowned companies have chosen several routes for innovation processes. There are two major categories of innovation;
Internal innovation: In Internal innovation, Companies depend on the ideas of people within the organization.
Open innovation: In open innovation, internal people, as well as external people, participates in bringing the ideas and change in the company.
Open innovation enables the company to think “out-of-the-box” ideas and extends the span of sharing of knowledge. There are two ways for the adoption of open innovation. Companies that are pacing toward open innovation make partnership either with research institutes or business firms.
Nestlé believes in open innovation and has been in partnership with various companies like Tetra Pak and BASF. Being an innovative industry, Nestlé has a record of producing 5000 new products each year due to its excellent innovation and creative management. 25% of the sales of Nestlé products in Germany are formed with those products that do not have existed a few years ago. The founder of most leading company Fraine Lactee, second name Henri Nestlé started its company with water and lemonade. Crossing the voyage of innovation and with the intention of healthy and delicious food products, Henri has expanded his business throughout the world. The Nestlé slogan for innovation partnership is “sharing is winning”. A perfect innovation partnership consists of three elements trust, goodwill, and creating value. Partners of the sharing are winning strategy include Cargills, Cogins, Symrise, Mane, Tetra Pak, and BSF who helped the organization in the contribution of more than $ 200 million by developing a new range of drinks, ice-creams, and dairy products.

The change curve theory model is more feasible for Nestlé to set its plans to deal with barriers related to the implementation of the CIM idea. The change curvy model has four different stages.
Stage I
Denial: This is the stage where the employees recognize the change but are denying to accept. At this stage, the change will communicate with all stakeholders including employees to make them realize its importance to cope up with the growing world
Stage II
Anger: This stage is very crucial because at the stage employees are still not willing to adopt the change. They still oppose the change. At this stage, different related pieces of training and workshops will conduct to make them able to understand the change and reduce their frustration to provide technical support.
Stage III
Exploration: Gradually, the employees will accept the change at this level by getting motivation and encouragement by top management in the form of appreciation and rewards.
Stage IV
Acceptance: this is the last stage where employees start to get involved in the implementation of the change. At this level business leaders motivate them to get the desired goals established by the organization.
