DEMOGRAPHIC STUDY AND STATISTICAL ANALYSIS
Demographic study is the study, which concerns of universal attributes and statistical calculation of the population with a systematic principle. It illuminates the total number of population, whether highly, thinly populated and it also determines the age and sex distribution of the population inhabiting the rural area and whether it ever sees the statistical analysis of various technical guards. This helps us to know about the total analytical view regarding the various fields of ways.
To the field With the help of demographic principles, I have analyzed the age group, educational, marital status and sex ratio of the inhabitants of Kharua Village,Barama,Baksa District. Therefore, it should not be counted into a grand total without knowing about the statistical data by various techniques of field investigation. Demographic study is essential for every one while going.

The total household is 150 and the total population is 657. Out of which 333 are males and 324 are females.

From the table- 2, it is seen that the total population of Kharua village is 657. The highest number of male is found in age group 35-39 that 41 in number (12.31%). The number of male population is consciously less in the age group 75 above. And the highest number of females is found in age group 25-29 that is 56 in number (17.28%). The number of female population is consciously less in 70-74.

From the table-3, it is seen that the total population of Kharua village is 657. The highest number of male is found in Broad age group 15-34 that 111 in number (33.33%). The number of male population is consciously less in the Broad age group 60 above. And the highest number of females is found in Broad age group 15-34 that is 127 in number (39.19%). The number of female population is consciously less in 60 above.

Marital status of the Bodos
It is found the table-4 that out of 333 males-%) males are unmarried, the remaining-%) are married, 12(3.6%) are Widow/Widower and 1(0.3%) are separated. The total 324 females-%) females are unmarried, the remaining-%) are married and the 30(9.25%) are Widow/Widower.

Educational status of the Bodos
The highest number of female that is-%) are found in high school level. Only 38(11.41%) males are higher secondary whereas 14(4.33%) females are higher secondary. The number of female illiterate is much higher than of male. The number of illiterate male is 86(25.82%) while the number of illiterate female is-%).

From the table-6, it is seen that the total population of Kharua village is 657. Out of 333 males-%) males are literate and 86(25.82%) males are illiterate. The total 324 females-%) females are literate and-%) females are illiterate. The number of male literate is much higher than of female.

In this table, it is found that out of total 333 males only 45(13.51%) males are engaged in business, 82(24.62%) males are agriculture, 25(7.5%) males are service holder(government/private),1(0.3%) male are pensioner, 42(12.62%) males are labour and-%) are others. In case of females out of total 324, only 9(2.78%) females are engaged in business, 44(13.58%) females are agriculture, 7(2.78%) females are service (government/private) holder, 1(0.3%) females are pensioner, 22(6.79%) females are weaving, 9(2.78%) females are labour and 232(71.6%) are others.

It is found from table-8 that the total number of nuclear family is 123(82%) and the total number of joint family is 27(18%).

Three different types of houses are noticed among the Bodos viz.- Traditional house, Assam Type and RCC Type. In this table, it is found that out of total household 150,-%) houses are Traditional Type, 24(16%) houses are Assam Type and 1(0.66%) houses are RCC Type. The total 657 populations,-%) people are lived traditional houses,-%) are lived Assam type houses and 3(0.46%) are lived RCC type houses.

The sanitary facility of the population is not satisfactory. In this table, it is found that out of total 150 households, only 1.33% of the total pit types,-%) households are sanitary types and 23(15.33%) are open place. The total 657 populations, 97(14.76%) people still defecate in the open place in Kharua village.

From Table-11, it is clear that 95.33% of the total households are using water from Tube Well for drinking. Pucca Well is still used as the sources of drinking water by the people. 2% of the total households have Pucca Well as the source of their drinking water and 2.66% of the total households are using water from Tape for drinking. Distributions of the population according to the sources of drinking water Pucca Well, Tap and Tube Well are 1.83%, 1.83% and 96.34% respectively.

From the table-12, it is seen that the total household of Kharua village is 150, the annual income of 85.34% households is up to Rs. 1 Lakh, 5.33% households annual income is more than Rs. 2 Lakhs, 8.66% households annual income is more than Rs. 3 to 4 Lakhs. Out of total populations, the annual income of 82.34% populations is up to Rs. 1 Lakh. The annual earnings of 5.47%, 11.71% and 0.45% of the total populations are Rs. 2 Lakhs, 3 to 4 Lakhs and more than 4 Lakhs only respectively.
