-All fire doors should be well
marked "FIRE EXIT", remain
unfastened & without obstruction
at all times.
-Provide 4,500 litres of water with
booster pump connected to 30
metres long horse reel & or
adequate fire fighting equipment in
accordance to BS5306:8.
-Provide 1 x 9 litres of water CO 2
fire extinguisher at eachfire point.
-An emergency fire escape plan
(EFEP) should be formulated &
affixed at conspicuous positions in
the building.
a fire assembly point should be well
indicated at the fire safe distance
from possible fire threat points.
-Good house keeping should be
practiced at all times in accordance
to occupational safety & health
(OSHA) council guidelines.
-A clear fire log should be kept at all
times while the building is in
occupation.
