Man From The North
Ghenee-
There was a time when I was alone
Groping, struggling to find home
Friends I thought who will be there
I found a trace of them nowhere
Then one day you came along
Was so excited like a bird with a song
I longed for your warmth each day, each night
Hoping to always hold you tight
But there were days that we went cold
No hugs, no kisses, no words were told
But I kept hoping and so I prayed
That love would just have stayed
Then warm days and passionate love I recalled
True love will never be stalled
This is not the end, our story has just begun
There will be more rising and setting of the sun
I know for sure that you love me still
If change must be, then so I will
For I have been told that love conquers all
No matter how many times we each fall
I love you, you know that full well
In my heart and in my soul you will forever dwell
Yes indeed, yes you are
You are the man, you are my man
Man from the North.
Quiet Days
Hurting you must be
For even my shadow you would not want to see
There you are, miles away
When I would have wanted you to stay
One day you came, one night you’re gone
You left me alone before the rising sun
Now days unfold, now days have passed
Not knowing when these quiet days will last.
