I Am Strong for My God is with Me
Most of us believe that God is always with us because He loves and cares for each and every one of us. However, with all the horrible things that are happening in the world today, can we still stand in front of other people and proudly say the words “God is with me!”
Satan loves using fear and uncertainty to trick us into believing that God has abandoned us in this cruel world. Experiencing bad things often makes us believe that God has forsaken us, but the truth is that no matter how difficult the situation is, God will never leave us.
The best thing that we can do whenever we are being tempted is to put our trust in God’s words. A lot of the scriptures in the bible promises us of His divine presence in our time of need if we just believe and have faith in Him.
Bible Verses that Reminds Me that God is With Me
The bible has gifted us with a lot of encouraging scriptures that we can use to strengthen our faith. Whenever you feel that you are being tempted, you can seek refuge in the following bible verses to give you strength and to remind you that God will always be by your side to protect and save you from harm.
Psalm 23 Verse 4
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."
These words were penned by David when he was getting old. He talks about God, addressing Him as his shepherd, and thanking Him for His guidance, protection, and company. David’s words illustrate that his strength and courage come from God and even in the face of death, he will fear nothing because he knows that God will never abandon him.
This scripture teaches us that we should fear nothing, even death itself, if we believe and put our faith and trust in Him.
Joshua 1 Verse 9
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
This is one of my favorite verses to read whenever I am frightened and distressed about my future. It encourages me to be strong and to rely on God for everything that I need.
This scripture commands us not to be fearful or worry about our future, for God knows what we need and He will always accompany us wherever we go till the end of time.
Deuteronomy 31 Verse 6
“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
This verse reassures us that God is more than sufficient in any situation that we may encounter. It challenges us to be strong and courageous no matter what or who we face for He promises that He will never fail or forsake us as long as we believe in Him.
Isaiah 41 Verse 10
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
This verse orders us to have faith in God’s words. It tells us not to fear for He promises to give us strength when we need it, help us when we are in trouble, and uphold us with His righteous hand whenever we slip from the path.
Final Words
As Christians, we are subjected to temptations that are designed to test our faith in God. These trials are sometimes too much to bear and are quite impossible to overcome by ourselves.
However, we should always remember that God is with us all the time. He will give us the strength, courage, and determination to triumph over these temptations which will give us the confidence to finally be able to shout to the world the words “God is with me!”
