Living in the 21st century is exhausting. We are under constant assault: school, work,
electronics, the environment. We can all admit to, at least once in a while, feeling tired.
Prolonged periods of physical or mental exertion that has returned far too little result can
leave us in a state of fatigue. This has been a major challenge for some, especially after
Covid. Here are a few things you can do to fight fatigue after covid in 2022 and get yourself
moving in the right direction.

We all live busy lives and I admit, there is always a lot to be done but we don't have 24
hours a day to do it. While we take on different levels of responsibility at various points in
our life, there are some obligations that are involuntary. We have to sleep, eat, clean
ourselves, get from one place to another; all of this takes time. It will aways be more
profitable to be organized than invincible. There is a time and a place for everything and
if the goal is to fight fatigue, finding a place for those things will go a long way in reducing
your stress levels.
Tracking my daily habits helped me the most in getting my life back on track. I started
with a pen and a pad. I simply wrote down everything I did every day for 2 weeks along
with the time at which I did it. This gave me a clear idea of how I was using my time and
what adjustments I needed to make. You can't do everything every day, but you can do
the most important things and it is empowering to point out to yourself and others what
you simply cannot do.
I have a daily activity tracking app on my phone now and I love it. I input all my
appointments, tasks I do daily and those that I may be required to do on that specific day.
I know when to do them. I know how long they will last and in case I lose my way my app
sounds a blaring alarm to remind me exactly where I should be and what I should be
doing. If you want to fight fatigue that is brought on from stress, get organized. It will
change your life.

After spending the day laboring to complete tasks that were never humanly possible
anyway, we tend to take time from more important things and sleep is definitely one of
them. I have sworn on more than one occasion that I can be cognitive on just 4 hours of
sleep but that fatigue and at times unbridled rage that you feel by Wednesday is your
body saying it really is not dealing well with low levels of rest.
When you go to sleep, your body is not just in a state of rest. It is in a state of repair. That
is why we tend to feel rejuvenated after a good night's sleep. To rob your body of the time
it needs to complete this necessary task day in, and day out puts a strain on your mental
and physical health. It puts a strain on your heart. Lack of sleep is linked to weight gain
and a host of other illnesses. The sleep foundation recommends a minimum 7 hours of
sleep every night. If you want to fight fatigue, a good night's rest is not something you
should compromise on.

There are times no matter how hard we try or how meticulously we plan, we simply cannot
control the whirlwind that is our day, our week or our month. What can we realistically do
to help our body stem the onset of fatigue? B vitamins are an excellent option when it
comes to sustaining your body naturally. Vitamin B12 in particular is a champion. It helps
you metabolize what you eat giving you that burst of energy.
Lots of juices and cereals and the like are fortified with vitamin Bs so it is not very hard to
find you simply need to be aware of what you consume during the day. Snacking and
grazing is not a good idea if you want to fight fatigue and remain fueled during the day.
Vitamin B12 occurs naturally in animal foods such as fish, beef, ham and even eggs. If
you can't control your day, it can be a great help to control what you eat.
