Benefits are: On line generation (Engineer) and approval (FA Team) of FA requests Easy tracking of FA requests/reports. Reports can be easily generated and extracted in Excel (Master list, Failure Mechanism, FA cost and Cycle Time report) Real time data transaction and on line availability of data FA reports are stored in a central database, simplifying data retrieval and archiving 2. AWW CAR4 System in Web (CARIII Enhancement) A worldwide system used for enrollment of customer issues (CAR) and internal issues (Test and Support Group ICAR, MRB, Rel Monitor). This is the replacement of CARIII system in Lotus Notes. Benefits are: Work flow simplification by reducing too much encoding. QE needs only to attach the 4D and 8D file Root cause is patterned in RCA format and Lesson’s Learned Summary is added for effectiveness Easy navigation to different views in CAR4. Any CAR information can be easily added and/or deleted in CAR4 views Exporting of data to Excel application and ability to open (through hyperlink) the specific CAR from Excel to CAR4 Automatic consolidation of product type to AAWW Product families Any user can easily customize an email alert by customer, factory and product type at CAR submission, 4D and 8D acceptance 3. Internal Audit (ACAR) Database Enhancement in Lotus Notes A database used for enrollment of CAR, MPR, ARS by Internal Auditor and creation of RFE by recipient Major enhancement in the database are: System auto notification to site MSA champs if the corrective action is set by recipient for BKM fan out. This is implemented to prevent the same issue from recurring to other sites Removal of first and 3rd month validation closure of committed actions in the system. Internal Auditor will only need to do 1st month validation closure of committed actions 4.
