It is essential to have various strategies
and techniques in keyword harvesting.
Using different strategies can help you get
more relevant keywords about your product
without missing potential keywords if you only
use one keyword harvesting strategy.
AMAZON SEARCH BAR
Use the Amazon Search Bar to look for keyword suggestions.
Type into the Amazon search bar the keyword or search term you are looking for and
look at the Amazon suggested keywords.
Amazon will show those suggestions because they are the search terms frequently
used by consumers in shopping around. Analyzing those keywords and utilizing them
will help you discover relevant and in-demand keywords.
Tip: You can use AMZ Suggestion Expander Chrome Extension to get more suggested
keywords.
COMPLEMENTARY
PRODUCTS
Check the "Frequently Bought Together" section to look for
complementary products.
Get the most relevant keyword of the products that complement your product and,
including those in your product listing and back end can help you get more visibility
and possible conversion.
Look for the "Frequently Bought Together" section in the product detail page of the
displayed product and gather those keywords to be used on your listing and maybe
on your PPC campaigns.
COMPETITOR
ANALYSIS
Use Helium 10 to
conduct Competitor
Analysis.
Determine the main keyword of your product, try out keywords that
pertain to your product spot on. You can look at the Amazon search
bar suggestions to help you with this. If you still can't identify your
most relevant keyword, you can use Cerebro Reverse ASIN Lookup
and get the keywords related to your product with the highest
search volume.
Type in those keywords on the search bar then, run
Helium 10 X-ray and sort the sales and reviews
from highest-lowest alternately.
Select the 9 (from the highest reviews and sales)
most similar products to yours, exclude Sponsored
Products, and save their ASINs in a spreadsheet.
COMPETITOR
ANALYSIS
Use Helium 10 to conduct
Competitor Analysis.
Enter your product's ASIN and your selected
ASINs in Cerebro, make sure that you are in the
right marketplace. Set your desired search
volume and advanced filters then, arrange the
search volume from highest to lowest.
Check the keywords and remove the irrelevant
ones. Download the CSV/Excel file, remove all
duplicates and unnecessary columns and use
Frankenstein Tool to polish your keywords.
You can either directly use the keywords in
Scribble for Listing Optimization or save it for
future use in a spreadsheet.
REVIEW INSIGHTS
Harvest keywords using the Review Insights function of Helium
10 Chrome Extension.
First, determine the most relevant keyword of your product then, search it on
Amazon's search bar.
Run Helium 10's X-ray tool, arrange the results from highest to lowest reviews, and
select the product/ ASIN with the most reviews.
Once you're on that product's detail page, click Review Insights (Helium 10) and
export the review analysis. Save on your spreadsheet.

Analytics (if you're Brand Registered),
Helium 10 Magnet Tool, and your PPC
Search Term Reports.
These reports contain actual data that Amazon
has given us based on their records, so it will be
very beneficial to utilize these reports and get
