Good Morning Class,
An example from my current place of employment that a change was implemented well was a new customer journey structure of how we engage with customers. A change that was not implemented well was when my direct boss, brought out the phone chargers to charge our iPads and people started to use them for their own cell phones. This lead people to want to have their cell phones on the sales floor, which created a distraction when working with employees. He wanted to implement employees to keep their phones in their lockers off of the sales floor, but the policy already had to many pushbacks because people had their phones on the floor already and the implementation was not successful.
The differences between the implementation of the change were that with the first implementation, it was companywide. And it was a new policy that had training materials to follow along. The cell phone implementation was an in house challenge that was more of an issue where the behaviors had to be changed throughout the staff.
