From my observation, I would like to say that that my current employer is meeting the stabling blocks of the non-traditional forces through continued resource abroad and creation of smaller groups within teams in order manage projects more effectively and efficiently. In small groups there is improvement in performance and quality in each group and how the group members are helping each other to cope up with evolving changes. In addition, the organisation at sometimes looks for recruits potential who are specialized to accommodate the needs of the organisation or provision of training for the employees within the organisation if the budget is not enough to sustain for additional resources for external training.
The leaders in my current organisation sustain culture through provision of continuous education to the workers about the organization’s culture and how they can be part of continuity of the organization’s culture. Additionally, they utilize worker engagement sessions as well as surveys in which the top leadership will speak with the entire team on various topics on engaging actively for the culture to remain. After watching the Disney video, it seems that my organisation uses same concept and approach of importance of initial training and doing follows up after training has been done. The training which is done in my organisation is culture focused but quite informative enough to have one have the feeling comfortable for the first time to attend it. There is lack of instructional resources and videos for one to get started, it is just a series of slides in PowerPoint form about the organisation and what it does.
