From this week’s scenario I have learned that when preparing a training program, it is crucial to write out a plan of action. A general outline of the training program plan will help the trainer to remain organized. In this scenario the training program should flow as follows:
Creation of a title for the training program
Goals and objectives for the training
Key points to be covered during the training in a logical order
Company specifics tools, policies, and procedures
Training materials needed for hands on and in classroom instruction
Interactive and stimulating activities
Prepare for a question and answer session.
It is also paramount to prepare a training space that will provide a environment which is comfortable with adequate setting and lighting. Trainers should also ensure that their training space has the required equipment and materials that are needed to successfully present the materials in the program.
