In this week’s scenario, Taormina is experiencing a decline in sales and training issues with new software. Although the new software was highly recommended by other companies who were already using it, some Taormina employees are not embracing the software and feel it is just another thing to learn. As the training specialist in this company, I will analyze the needs of this company and find the best course of action. I am responsible for developing, implementing, and conducting training programs for all employees (new and existing). I would coordinate training programs for my organization that are conducive with the mission to accommodate training requirements. I will ensure various instructional training methods such as lectures, conferences, and workshops are created, available, and have the capability of being executed as individual or group training. To keep training interesting and to motivate employees to be open to learning how to properly use the new software, I would offer a variety of teaching aids. Teaching aids such as multimedia visual aids, webinars, tutorials, and handbooks will assist with presenting information about the new software in a new and exciting way. Before the execution of the training program for the new software, I would gather a team together and test it out to measure its effectiveness. Once proven to be effective, I would start scheduling all employees for the newly designed training program. I would survey employees before the end of each session to receive feedback on the course. I would compile all concerns and issues and rectify them accordingly.
