Pre-Algebra 1A:
They came in and it took them awhile to quiet down. I got thru attendance and I thru directions. They really seemed to not remember how to multiply fractions and simply them. We were starting the class working independently and they could earn working in groups if they showed me they could handle the independent work. Announcements came on and I could not hear them because the a lot of the class got very loud so they could not be heard.
These students would not stop talking throughout the class period even though they were supposed to be working independently. Andrew Mills, Iyana Coleman, Tyrell Jones, Kayla Spruill, Kiawanda Dubose, Averi, Sharon Abdulsalam, Demi Brown,
GT Algebra 1 2A:
They entered rather quietly, but that couldn’t last. They started to get loud and they do not seem to understand independent work either. I gave them 2 warnings about giving an administrative detention as I was told that was an option this morning instead of calling the principle to the classroom and other staff because they are needed to get students from classes. I was trying to help them so they wouldn’t all come up with the same questions and I had a couple students say we are GT we don’t need this help. I then had several ask me questions on the things I went over with them as a class. They finally quieted down the last 10 minutes or less.
These students would not stop talking throughout the class period even though they were supposed to be working independently. Kayla Rodriguez-Garcia, Catherine Williamson, Joshua Evans, Mackenzie Lamon, Daniel Olofi, Taryn Cook, Derikah Washingtin, David Holland, Holland, Tyree Tyson, Brianna Tucker and Ivyanna Stephens.
GT Algebra 1 4A:
They entered loudly and they would not quiet down. An administrator came in and helped me quiet them down so I could give directions after it took over 10 minutes to take attendance. As soon as he left they started right back up and talking. Emanuela was sent out of the class at this point, because she wouldn’t stop the outburst and comments.

GT Algebra 1 5A:
They entered quietly and started working independently very well. After a short time of that I let them work in partners. This was an amazing class.
Pre-Algebra 7A:
They entered very loudly and they stayed that way. It took me until 2:10 to get thru attendance and directions. I will say this is just about the whole class that will not quiet down and work independently. This class again is way to loud and nothing I say is quieting them down.
Khaide’a is working on other work instead of her math work.

Comments:
I let all of your classes’ use their devices as calculators and calculators only as you had the class ones locked up. Several students in at least the first 2 classes did not understand do not write on the handout sheet only on notebook paper.
I did not give out any tests or quizzes that needed to be finished and where attached to the clipboard.
