Aweber SOP
Purpose: Use the steps below to login to Aweber and create a mailing list for the ClickBank product you will be promoting.
Step 1: Login to Aweber.
Step 2: Open the “Manage Lists” tab at the top of the page.
Step 3: Click the green “Create A List button.
Step 4: If it is not already there, enter your company information. If it is there, make sure it’s all correct. When all information is entered correctly, click the “Next Step” button at the bottom of the page.
Step 5: Give your list a specific name and a brief, but detailed, description. Then click the “Next Step” button.
Step 6: You do not need to change anything on this page. Scroll to the bottom and click the “Approve Message and Create List” button.
Step 7: After the list is created, click on the “List Options” tab and select “List Settings” from the dropdown menu.
Step 8: Select “Confirmed Opt-In” from the List options on the left side of the page.
Step 9: Scroll past the “Confirmation Message”. Go to the “Send a confirmed opt-in email…” switch and click it to turn off.
Step 10: In the pop-up box, click “Yes” to confirm you want to disable “Confirmed Opt-In”.
Step 11: Verify “Confirmed Opt-Ins” is disabled and click the “Save Settings” button.
