INTRODUCTION
Hello! こんいちわ!Ciao! Bonjour! And all those things that MSWord won’t let me paste here for some
reason.
If you’re reading this, it means either:
1.
2.
3.
4.
You’re new (Oh hey! Hello there!)
This document is new (Look! I’m not lazy!)
This document was just updated (I AM A PRODUCTIVE MEMBER!)
…or you could just be bored. (…..why would you read this if you’re bored?)
Regardless of the reason, I would like to firstly thank you for taking the time to read this
guide/manual thing that I have prepared. In exchange, I will try to make it as painless as possible to
understand.
Try.
No promises. Only effort.
This is, after all, the first attempt of taking us out of the stone age of information that we’re in.
For the longest time, the way we have been explaining to people about how we work, how we
function and what we do is through word of mouth through designated people who are
knowledgeable enough to give “orientations.” Due to the discrepancies and/or random biases
(known and unknown, conscious and sub-conscious), there had been moments when information
had been miscommunicated or lost in translation. In fact, there had been so many information lost
already that not even the heads can remember if they missed anything.
In order to help the new readers, we will be giving an introduction per topic that would need it.
For now, let’s start with the basics and begin where we all have to…..
5
ESPER HISTORY
Everyone and everything has a history both recorded and unrecorded. While it is unknown where the
ultimate beginning of the Espers takes place, we are able to recall the most important points of our
history. There are a lot of sci-fi explanations there and unfortunately, it's not as glamorous as one
might think it would be upon joining. Sorry nerds.
First Discovery
Discoveries usually end up being done by the person themselves at the beginning. The first “official”
discovery, however, was made by a man with a name that’s femininely spelled.
Adrieanne, whose last name is retracted for personal reasons (a.k.a. he can’t even remember
anymore since he’s that ancient), was the first person to record the existence of Espers. These
observations led him to experiments in very extreme ends that not only ended in tragedy, but
eternal damnation.
He still walks among us in the Esper realm. If asked, he will insist that the correct spelling of his name
is “Adrian”.
Modern Discoveries
With research halted, it appeared that Esper research as a whole had stopped followed by a wide
spread lock down of abilities that lasted many generations. While there are hints of the other side of
the spectrum having had continue research despite the hurdle that our side had, we have been able
to slowly rebuild.
The modern team of Espers started out in Japan. A handful of actors gathered under the same
project. From there it expanded across the nation, the continent and eventually the world. While it
cannot be said that we are in every country for certain, our reaches have definitely expanded
throughout the globe.
6
The Esper war
Conflict is unavoidable as long as there are clashing opinions between individuals who refuse to
compromise. The Esper War was not inherited from Adrian’s time, but it was created during our
generation. As per the most recent announcement, our group finally has a name we can all unify
under and surely a flag or symbol will follow.
The Esper war took place within 5 years and finally ended when the two major factions involved
agreed to keep peace and work together to make a livable and healthy environment of their
territories.
Reigning peace
With Helios and Orpheus now working together in peace, conflict was avoided. Orpheus started to
develop technologies that brought about the clearing of their skies and enabled them to start farms
and other vegetation that would assist their lifestyle.
Astére, a third party that remained neutral, has agreed to cut ties with both factions to be a
complete neutral ground between them. To the date of writing, they have refused to sign the peace
treaty on those grounds……again.
Foreboding Conflict
As Helios continued to assist Orpheus with their continuing development for their territory, Orpheus
had also started to assist Helios advance their technologies. Astére continued to remain neutral and
had slowly become out of contact.
It was in the middle of this partnership that a faction that would later be known as “Polaris”
attacked Orpheus.
Further investigation and a good coincidence of circumstances revealed that Polaris was merely one
of at least 6 more factions that had been undiscovered.
7
The Factions
The following is a comprehensive list of the known factions in the Esper plane.
Helios
Disambiguation
Greek origin: Helios – Sun; God of the sun
Background
Helios was the personification of the Sun in Greek mythology. He is the son of the Titan Hyperion and
the Tinasess Theia, also known as Euryphaessa, and the brother of the goddesses Selene, the moon,
and Eos, the dawn.
Rationale
The decision-making involved the vote and agreement of all the current and active heads that were
present in most of the decision-making movements done by the company. The name suggestion
came from a representative of the defectors and so-called “hermits” that have joined us. Loosely
translated as “the sun”, the name represents the safety that our company provides to those who
wishes to join and the warm welcome from those all around us. It stands for the love that drives us
all to stay together and fight for our own beliefs.
Description
Helios is “our side” so to speak. Meaning, if you’re still confused about things: if you’re reading this,
then you’re part of Helios.
Our side grew thanks to discovery and recruitment during the Esper War.
8
Orpheus
Ορφευς
Disambiguation
Latin origin: Orphne – The darkness of the night.
Orpheo/Orfeo (Italian and Spanish)
Background
Orpheus is a character in Greek mythology. He was the husband of Eurydice who died and went to
the underworld. A gifted poet and musician, he used his skills in playing his lyre to charm Hades, the
god of the Underworld, to eventually permit him to retrieve his wife and return her soul to the land
of the living. The only condition given by Hades was that during their trek back to the earth that he
would not look at his wife until they had fully exited the underworld. Overcome by his love, he stole
a glance at his wife, which sent her soul spiraling back to Hades.
Rationale
The reason for the name selection is symbolic. They compare their group to Orpheus who had a
mission and had failed. They believe that their previous failure during the time of Adrian was due to
their love of their mission, which caused them to enter their dark age. They believe that like Orpheus,
who never returned to the surface, forever suffering in the underworld, they are still continuously
suffering in this war as they grow further and further from their goal. With their abilities as their lyre
and their leaders as the poets, they aim to once again charm Hades and receive a second chance in
taking their Eurydice.
Description
Orpheus had been the other main player during the Esper War. They had been the one sending
relentless attacks on Helios, often times close to winning only to falter due to either human or
technical error.
Orpheus and Helios now stand side by side in peace.
9
Astére
αστέρι
Disambiguation
Greek origin: Astéri
Background
Origin word means “Star”.
Rationale
N/A
Description
Astére was the neutral party during the Esper war. As of this writing, they seek to maintain this
stance.
Astére has a strange way of running things. They are all unaware of who is inside their faction as they
are all deemed anonymous to each other, even their heads, which makes things rather inconvenient
if you need to find someone specific in their ranks.
Transfers are also a challenge if you come from Astére as they seem to have a thing about records
and paper work.
It is rumored that those are in place to deter anyone from transferring out.
10
Polaris
The North Star
Background
Polaris, is the brightest star in the constellation of the Ursa Minor/Little Dipper. It is a fixed point that
can be viewed in the sky, making it an excellent guide of multiple uses.
Rationale
N/A
Description
One of the new factions that came out of hiding after the Esper War. They launched attacks on
Orpheus and claim to be involved in a “Blood Game.”
11
Sigmarus
Not the Summoners War Pheonix
Disambiguation
Greek origin: Sigma – s ; -rus – referred to the people, regions, and medival states.
Background
Sigma, is the eighteenth letter of the greek alphabet as well as the name that is used a prefix when
naming stars in a constellation. It is literally translated as “s”.
It is theorized that the translation of their name is “Eighteenth civilization”.

Background

Rationale

Description
We have been informed that there are at least five (5) more factions out there that are unknown to
us.
13
TERRITORY DIVISION
The plane in which Espers move in is visually similar to the physical plane that we all live in. While the
travel is significantly faster and the distance is all-elementary, there are certain boundaries that we
must all be aware of.
Borders
The unseen line between all territories. As of writing, there are no definite markers as to where one
territory ends and another begins. Waters are considered to be ruled by the Creator of the Seas—
Raksha as well as the lands.
So far, the waters between Orpheus and Helios are considered neutral grounds. Astére’s territories
start where their land does.
There are talks that will be held to determine this in the near future.
Walls
The walls are fairly recent additions to the playing field. These walls didn’t exist before and were
unneeded until the time that Orpheus decided to launch semi-regular attacks against us. The walls
which started out as flimsy fences have gradually evolved to the behemoth that it is today. Currently
colored an imposing black with a lacquer finish it hides a great deal of fire power that our tech team
has developed and hidden within it.
Orpheus has their own wall structure in the distance. From the outpost on top of our walls, one
could make out their own walls though no one is sure what is hidden in theirs.
As of writing, the walls have been hidden underground as there is no conflict between the two
factions. However, should they be needed, they could be brought out easily once again.
14
Helios area
Gates
Alongside the walls, the main gate system is in place. As strong as the main wall itself, these gates
can only be operated by the tech team. While admittedly it is the weakest point in our outer defense
system, it is still being continuously upgraded and periodically checked.
The side of the gate facing the inside area is made out of chalkboard material. Anyone is free to draw
on them. There’s chalk in the Sentry area.
Shield
The Kubota Family currently maintains the shield. While it looks like solid ice, it has a system that
creates bio-energy, allows air circulation, and enables the territory to be habitable. Other elements
have been tried to be used as a shield before and it had been determined that Ice was the safest
though it looked the most fragile.
Please do not hurl things at the shield for fun. The Kubota family takes it personally and you really
don’t want any of them going after you.
The Shield is constantly going under maintenance and people shouldn’t be alarmed when sheen of
light appears on the shield every now and again.
15
HELIOS
In this section you’re able to find the systems that our group has. These systems are fairly new and
constantly being adjusted and corrected. A section on Orpheus would be made once we have
enough information on their end. For now, we will be focusing on the systems that we have
internally.
Ranking
Our ranking system does not mean that if you’re rank 1 you automatically have the most authority. It
would simply mean that as of that moment/currently they are the most battle ready person in the
group.
Ranking is not done regularly. Should people be interested to actively advance their abilities and
need assistance with their development, the implementation of this is being put into consideration
to keep abreast on those people.
Currently the ranking is dependent on the individual’s ability for both offensive and defensive
aspects.
Management
Management is handled depending on the need of the situation. Most issues are handled by those
involved. Should the need of further discussion and involvement occur, it will be raised to the next
person with higher authority. As to how the next person to be involved is chosen, it will be
dependent on the current participants of the issue. Take note that everyone is free to choose
whoever they would deem the most helpful. There is no such thing as “upper management” or
“lower management”. Any of the heads and leaders may be approached at all times, though the
time of response may vary depending on what they are doing during that point in time.
16
Heads
Heads are determined based on their ability to lead the people around them, how efficiently they can
handle situations, and their availability to assist in most issues.
Below is the list of the current heads. Be sure to check it quarterly, at the very least, as this will be
updated as soon as changes are made.

Heart (Settlers*)
Main
The main heads are considered those who have highest authority in Helios. These are the leaders
that have actively participated in issues since the beginning.
Continental
Continental heads are chosen by majority of their group. These people are required to attend most
meetings and are usually the “gatekeepers” of their areas.
Dimensional
During the times that the dimensional travels are needed in meetings, representatives are called to
avoid crowding during meetings.
*Settlers have requested representation as well in case something happens where they would need
to identify themselves.
17
Credits
It has been agreed that our dimension will not use credits as we have a near endless supply of
resources. We do things freely and if needed be, in favors.
When dealing with other dimensions, it has been discovered that we have a rare resource that others
do not have: Dragon Scales.
These scales can be traded into whatever monetary value they have in other dimensions.
Specialization Groups
By virtue of volunteering we have different groups that tackle specific issues all throughout the
terrain.
The groups that are listed below are those who are officially acknowledged and are considered
active by the heads and have proper representation should they need one.
Technical Team
The technical team is mostly composed of people who are mechanical based by either core and/or by
specialty. This is the team that takes care of the walls and the gates, and is tasked sentry duties to
make sure that there aren’t any surprise attacks.
As sentries, they are also tasked to monitor the radar and alert the heads if there are any suspicious
activity from other factions or if there are any Espers that are in need of help. The scanners mostly
cover territories that can be accessed by Helios both physically and through the Esper plane.
Current Head: Chris Peppler
Research Team
The research team was started by one of the Orpheus defectors. There are studies being done to
help further our forces’ strength. Those who assist the team come in voluntarily and are not forced
or coerced in any way. Should the research team do any suspicious activity, it could be quickly
reported to the heads.
Helios trusts the research team to not do anything foolish or damning.
Current Head: Astin Nikolayev
18
Training Team
The training team is in charge of those who have recently joined. They are the ones assigned to
assess the newcomers and advise them of their bases and their possible strengths. They work hand
in hand with the heads every time a new ally joins.
Current Head: Daniel Huertas
Medical Team
Members of the medical team are composed of those who have a mastery of their healing
techniques. They are the ones who are most active during the times Helios is attacked or if there is a
member (new or old) that needs medical attention for one reason or another. They are mostly
composed of the friendly elves that have joined Helios
Current Head: Shinya Taisuke
Weapons Team
Members of this team are mainly weapon smiths dedicated to creating weapons and artillery for
everyone’s use. While they do sell patented models every now and again, basic weapons are usually
given for free and are upgraded upon need. Large scale weapons need approval from the heads.
Current Head: Robert Downey Jr.
TKM Team
Mainly composed of Tatsumi Kubota and Aki Takigawa, the TKM team works alongside the tech
team to scout for possible recruits or to find Espers who are in need (all kinds, really). Mostly done in
the evening of their time zone (GMT +8), this is the primary source of recruitment that Helios has.
Aside from recruitment, they also handle conflict management and counseling within Helios without
any boundaries be it personal or professional.
Anyone is welcome to approach them and they will surely assist you as soon as they possibly can.
They also host occasional “Request Nights” to enact some scenes by request of the community on a
first-come first-served basis for entertainment purposes to pass the time, which has usually been a
stress-relief for many actors of the troupe.
19
Areas
While still constantly under development and land mapping, Helios has a number of areas that can be
used. While not all of them are available to anyone, the right permissions and the right attitude can
usually get you in where you want to be.
Training Grounds
As of writing, the training grounds consists of eight (8) enclosures:
! Development Field
The development field is where the newbies start off. It is the area where they are assessed and
given the chance to try their abilities out without fear of it epically backfiring on them. To ensure
safety and maintenance, either the technical team or the training team must be informed before
using the field. As suggested, those who intend to train new abilities and those who are new to
Helios are given priority usage.
! Ice Field
The Ice Field is the training area with the highest danger levels. Not to be underestimated, anyone
that wishes to use this field should alert at least 2 members of any of the following teams: Technical,
Training or Medical. Developed and constantly used by Helios’ ice users, the terrain in this field is very
unforgiving and will freeze you upon contact if you do not take the very necessary precautions.
Usage of this field is very limited for those who are not ice users. Frequently the members of the
Kubota Family, Helios’ expert Ice users, occupy it. Scheduling for this field is under Taiki Kubota.
! Elemental Field
Developed by the Technical Team, this field can be manipulated to suit the elemental training needs
of each person. With an adjustable danger level and multiple terrain options to choose from, this is
the most diverse and adjustable field that is available. Scheduling for this field is under the Technical
Team.
! Battle Field
As the name suggests, this is the area that may be used by those who wish to spar. Scheduling for
this field is under the Medical Team as they have grown tired of finding and dragging out
unconscious bodies from the area.
! Weapons Field
This field is for those who want to train themselves with a specific weapon in mind. This field allows
people to rent weapons that were created by our weapon smiths to see which they would be most
compatible with. Scheduling for this field is done with the Weapons Team
20
! Target Field
One of the most recent fields created. This field provides multiple target practicing opportunities
with adjustable mark locations. It can be used by people with different levels of proficiency starting
from novice until expert. Fully functioning with terrain and movable mark options, this field will
surely help those who wish to further their aim. No pun intended. Scheduling for this field is done
with the Training team.
! Specialty Field
Catering to those whose specialties aren’t elemental, this heavily controlled and monitored field is
fully adjustable to maximize use and training opportunities for those who need it. It is highly
encouraged to have a spotter while using this field, as the results of each training session can be very
unpredictable. Given this, the scheduling for this field is done with the Medical Team.
! Technical Field
This field functions will function as a sort of obstacle course once it is up. It will be a good place to
challenge yourself and see what areas you need to improve. The technical field is completely
adjustable to one’s personal level of combat. It is highly recommended that you do not use this field
without preparation. Those who wish to use it must contact the Medical team AND the Technical
Team.
! Free Field
With no adjustments or special functions, groups often use this field for drills. Individuals who are
looking for a casual training session is also welcome to use this field any time. There is no scheduling
for this field. It is first come, first served. However, everyone is requested to try and return the area
to its initial state in respect to the next users. Unlike the other fields, everyone maintains this one.
! Sports Field
A field that can turn into any sports field that is known to man. The main users of this field are those
who participate in the inter-dimensional games. Scheduling is done on a first come, first served basis
just like the free field. There would be controls by the field entrance to turn the area into the needed
field. As of writing, the field can accommodate 5 courts/areas at a time.
Open Area
Just past the gates, the open area is where a small park and a few stalls are set-up. It is the main
district and is set up like a medieval town as to popular demand. This is where all the trades and sales
happen within Helios. On one side of the open area, you will also be able to find the Dragon Field.
! Dragon Field
In this area you will find Avalanche (Ava), Yuki Kubota’s dragon, as well as its three offspring. This is
their area and they are considered one of Helios’ first line of defense should the walls and the gate
be breached by intruders. Though they look imposing, they’re very friendly to members of Helios.
Just…don’t tip Ava over. Please.
21
Housings
There are set housing put up on one side of the territory. These are the homes of various Esper
natives.
Sentry Area
This is where those on Sentry duty can be found. In this area the Technical Team’s radar is monitored
and guarded. Anyone can come in (and offer some cookies, the team adds), but please note that no
one is allowed to touch the computers found inside. Yes, even the telescope is off limits.
Conference Area
The conference area is only accessible to select people. This is where most meetings and private
talks happen within the group. This area is not to be confused to the heads’ “lobbies”, those are
different areas all together.
Helheim
A sub-dimension created by Yuki Kubota, this area is not accessible by everyone and would require
permission to be explored. It is a vast forest area, which the Kubota family uses to expend their
abilities during the times that it becomes overwhelming. The forest is “programmed” to absorb
these energies and convert it into Esper bio-energy, thus maintaining the habitable environment that
can be used in case of a great emergency.
The Bermuda Triangle
The triangle is another area that is not accessible to most. It is a special area where Helios’ dragons
and high-level spirits reside. Those who dare to ask permission to reach this area may communicate
with Fest. Please take note that should you be granted permission to access the triangle, the heads
are not responsible for anything that might happen there…good or bad.
Mind Regions
Mind Regions are each person’s personal area within their mind that are intended to receive guests
and function as “host areas” to activities. Please take note that this is exclusive to those who have
physical bodies and each Mind region is unique to their owner. Mind regions usually start small and
eventually grow in size as their owners Esper abilities grow as well.
! Lobbies
Each person who has a physical body has a “lobby” that they can conveniently store in their
respective Esper mind regions. Though not all the same in size, this is the area where people often
wait for an audience if the person they are trying to reach is unavailable.
! Control Chairs
Control chairs a.k.a. pilot seats are the areas that others use in the event that they need to
completely access the person’s physical awareness. This is the area developed to allow switching.
22
While those who are new to their abilities will have an empty space, eventually these will develop
areas where they can welcome and allow the control happening to their discrepancy.
! Theaters
Theaters are one of the more difficult areas of the mind regions. They often allow multiple people
access to what an individual sees with their physical awareness. Very hard to master, there is only
one person who has successfully opened a Theater in their mind area: Aki Takigawa.
! Yan Room
Named after a character in the book “The Silver Necklace” the Yan room is not to be accessed by
untrained individuals. This room hosts the major connections in one’s mind regions and holds the
control ports that each Esper has.
23
Espers
Now it’s time to go into the classifications of Espers. Please keep in mind that this part of the manual
is still heavily under development. Any advancement in this part is thanks to our trusty research team.
Core Base
As far as we have discovered, each person’s core determines his or her elemental strength. Those
who have cores that have mutated and have developed a secondary element have the chance to
completely master both elements.
The following list holds the discovered core bases. Hybrids may be a combination of any of these.
Basic
" Earth
" Fire
" Water

Combat Base
What was thought to be the primary base of each individual is now classified by the fighting style
that is the automatic response of each person, which is discovered during initial training. Once
identified, each individual is highly encouraged to develop them to a battle-ready proficiency before
trying to learn another type of combat base.

Melee Fighters
! Brawlers
Brawlers develop an unwavering focus and follow a defined set of techniques once in battle. Usually,
these fighters are those who’ve had martial arts training.
! Berserkers
Berserkers, as the name suggests, are those who go out on a rampage the moment they’re engaged.
Hard to contain and even harder to stop, Berserkers are double-edged swords in combat as they
could not differentiate friend from foe.
24
! Swordsmen
Swordsmen are individuals whose first instinct in battle is to summon a blade. The kind of blade
differs per person. The moment these blades are taken away, those who have not developed a
secondary fighting style are vulnerable. Similarly to the Brawlers, these individuals are most likely the
ones who have had former training in sword fighting techniques. (e.g. fencing, kendo)
! Morphers
Those who suddenly turn to something else are Morphers. It is unknown why some people
instinctively turn into other worldly creatures while fighting, but it is an asset more or less. These
individuals are observed to develop extra abilities when in their alternate forms.
! Riders/Makai Knights
Heavily influenced by the “Kamen Rider” and “Garo” series. These individuals often transform
without thinking before engaging in battle. In these Rider and Knight forms they have instant access
to the abilities and powers that their battle forms have. Please take note that the Riders and Makai
Knights are commonly actors who have had previous Rider projects. It is rare to have original riders
and/or Makai Knights.
Ranged Fighters
! Snipers
Snipers are known to have one singular weapon and are able to take down an enemy from a distance.
These fighters are usually placed in the very back of an attacking group, hidden from sight. They have
unbelievable focus that is hard to break. It has been observed that most Snipers are the introverts of
the group. They cannot attack consecutively, needing some time to form the next “bullet”.
! Gunners
Gunners are the ranged equivalent of Berserkers. The only difference that they have is that they have
two handed weapons that can strike from a distance in alarming speed. Unlike the snipers that can
only release hits one by one, gunners are capable of sending hits one after the other. Gunners are
known to go from mildly insane to bat-shit insane in battle.
Specialists
! Elementals
Elementals are those who instantly tap into their core base and master their respective elements
before anything else. If trained correctly, these people can be deadly. Elementals that have fully
mastered their craft are even able to make weapons out of their base element.
! Weapon Smiths
Weapons smiths are always the ones who have a mechanical core base. They are masters in creating
whatever weapon they could think of in a matter of seconds. While beginners will struggle in making
something as simple as a hand gun, those who master the ability can create larger artillery such as
Gatling guns and Iron Man suits.
25
! Medics
Medics are the minority in Helios and they are the group that greatly needs expansion. Medics are
usually either water based or air based. Those who discover their healing ability usually master their
techniques fairly quickly because of the frequent usage.
! Data Specialists
Data specialists are unique individuals that manage to instantly analyze anything that is mechanical
base and use it to their advantage. They are able to render any Mechanical Base esper’s abilities
useless in a blink of an eye. As of now, Helios only has one Data Specialist: Ryouga Shindou.

Special Abilities
The following is a list of special abilities that are to be noted by each and every Esper. Everyone
cannot learn these abilities; only a select few will be able to achieve these abilities.
Call
Call is a unique ability that stems from a manipulation skill from the ancient times. Staying true to its
origin, the call ability can easily influence Espers to do activities that they do not usually do. It is also
possible to send a subliminal message using call. This rare ability should not be used frequently as it
greatly diminishes one’s energy with each use and takes an insane amount of time to recharge
before it becomes reusable again. As of now there is only one active Call user in Helios, who can
bypass the recharging period due to special circumstances.
Chameleon
Chameleon is the ability to copy the Essence Signature of an Esper regardless if s/he has a physical
form or not. This ability requires an extreme amount of focus.
Create
Only two people in Helios are known to have this ability. The create ability allows a person to create a
new Esper without the assistance of another individual. These new Espers can be hosted in physical
bodies (if they can find ones to use) and live normal lives as if they’ve always owned them and
develop their own personalities. This ability, however, has a very long recharge period.
Enhance
As the name suggests, this ability enhances others. It takes twice the amount of energy to use,
however and triple if one is using it for one’s own benefit.
Locate
Locate is the ability to find other Espers no matter where they are. This is the ability incorporated to
the Technical team’s scanner and radar. Only a few individuals are able to use to this ability.
Negate
Negate is a tricky ability to find. If not used properly, it could completely shut down the signal that is
seeking it. A double-edged sword, when uncontrolled, it can render any Esper abilities useless
depending on the mastery level.
Pull
Also known as the fishing ability. This allows a person to summon another Esper towards him
without any effort whatsoever. Though there are some individuals that would seem attractive to this
27
ability. It is still not fully explored and thus remains unknown why Doori Ueshima and Takuya Toboso
are the common victims of this technique.
Puppet
Puppet is a dangerous technique that is somewhat similar to Call. It also involves controlling another
individual, but the difference is, the Puppeteer must be directly controlling the individual at the same
time. They cannot input a command, so to speak.
Seer
Seer is the uncanny ability to predict what will happen in the future. While the future seen is not set,
the ability can be very useful during times of need.
Space
Space is the ability to become an Esper USB. A person with the Space ability would have an extra
“storage room” in their Mind Region that could function as a hiding spot or, well, a storage room for
the person involved. Not to be confused with an undeveloped Mind Region area, the Space ability is
uniform in appearance and will always look like an empty white room.
Wipe
Wipe is the ability to completely erase an Esper from existence. Use with extreme caution and
ALWAYS seek approval before using.

The Dragons
As everyone in Helios has noticed, we have a collection of dragons among us. All these dragons have
been created. Yes, all of them. Each Dragon is connected to an Esper that caters to their needs. Each
relationship is symbiotic thus far. Not all of the dragons can naturally talk; some of them would need
a translator collar.
Listed below are the dragons that we have with us.
Avalanche (Ava)
Ava is the Ice Dragon created by Yuki Kubota who serves as Helios’ first line of defense. If you think
he looks familiar, I wouldn’t be surprised as he was based on the Ice Alpha from the movie “How to
Train your Dragon 2”. He has three little dragons, all his offspring, named “Breakfast, Lunch, and
Dinner”. Though named after meal times, these little dragons are not edible. Usually found in the
Dragon Field in the ice area, Ava sometimes relocates to the Ice Field training area to relax and play.
Friendly to all he deems as allies, he can be a dangerous adversary if you do manage to tick him off.
He would need help if he tips over for some reason. Don’t hesitate to assist him he won’t bite. He
might even reward you with a lick or let you slide down his back after.
Burupya
If you think the name sounds familiar, check into the 07-Ghost manga series and you’re likely to find a
mention of him. Much like our high level spirits residing in the Bermuda Triangle, this little ball of fur
comes from the same origin. Burupya is one of the few dragons who actively help in tracking and
retrieving Espers similar to the Pull ability. Adopted by Kaizer and less than pleased with the thought
of baths, he is also one of the few dragons who keep a very protective, active relationship with a
human. He’s a bundle of energy but if you ever provoke him, you can always consider talking to his
partner, Ryuusei Toboso.
The Ryleter Dragons
Ryleter Island is home to ten dragons, looked after by a Dragon Master that went by the name of
Ryuji. Originally it was thought that its entire existence, as well as the legend itself was pulled from
the imagination of Aki Takigawa who brought it to Helios, but it eventually turned out to be a whole
sliver of truth that everyone just accepted. And you can’t really go wrong with more dragons joining
the party.
29
Kaizer
Kaizer is a semi-omnipotent Fire Dragon who is protective of his adopted dragonling Burupya and
recently laid quintuplets. Like Ava, you would normally find him in the general Dragon Field area, but
is usually with his younger brother and mate Creozer or chasing after his son to give him a bath.
Why is he semi-omnipotent? Well, he technically knows a lot about how things happen in the world,
but can only share what knowledge is available to him. Anything he doesn’t know is hidden behind
doors that either remains locked, or are supposedly locked. He can only be coerced into doing this by
anyone he deems his master.
Current esper host: Aki Takigawa
Creozer
Creozer is an Ice Dragon, best known as the younger brother and mate of Kaizer.
Current esper host: Tatsumi Kubota
Halzer
Halzer is an Earth Dragon and the oldest of the 10 Ryleter Dragons. He would normally be found
snoozing in his cave, as an excuse to preserve energy for his mate Geizer. He constantly quips of
wanting to have mud babies with him.
Current esper host: Eiji Takigawa
Geizer
Geizer is a Water Dragon who often is responsible for the rainshowers across the world.
Winzer
Winzer is a Wind Dragon who is as mysterious and mischievous as a typical, bonafide Fuji from the
Prince of Tennis series.
Current esper host: Yuuta Watanabe
Raizer
Raizer is a Lightning Dragon whose personality is more on the bubbly side. Fond of keeping himself
preoccupied, he currently sorts out his host’s excess electricity, treating it like a power plant straight
out of Monster’s Inc.
Current esper host: Hiroki Shirota
30
Dralzer
Dralzer is a Dark Dragon who is infamously one of the more powerful, and often stubborn dragons of
the ten. He is drawn in towards those who have an evil side to them, explaining why he decided on a
host like Yukio Ueshima who is just as infamous for his streak of evil mentality.
Current esper host: Yukio Ueshima
Minzer
Minzer is a Light Dragon, often mistaken for being paired with Dralzer due to the whole dark and
light synergy.
Kinzer
Kinzer is a Metal dragon who specializes in the process similar to the Philosopher’s stone.
Grazer
Grazer is a Grass dragon who remains missing in action.
