Indeed, as a young boy he sat—practically glued near the transistor radio—listening to DJ Casey Kasem: eyes closed, as he allowed his imagination to vividly transport him to a space where he was the master; spinning records which resonated with his audience. In fact, his passion burned so bright that even then he would record every show to playback to his friends every chance he got.
