1. Executive summary-:
This business plan is for a 3D visualization business. 3D visualization is the process of creating graphics and rendering designs using various 3D software. 3D visualization is used in various industries like architecture, film, gaming and engineering, jewelry designing. Use of 3D visualization helps in saving cost and time.
Our company will provide services using technologically superior processes. Our target clients are mechanical engineering firm, Advertising agencies, jewelry industry firms,
We offers a wide range of computer generated rendering, simulation, product animation. We are specialized in 3D visualization for engineering mainly focusing on mechanical and product animation.
The ultimate goal of our company is to make clients product looks good in this competitive market where potential customers are more attracted towards animated product videos.
We also make 3D visualization for manufacturing companies so that they can have a better view of their products. This will help you to produce the most accurate representation of the product. Our professional team of mechanical engineers provide high quality product design, product animation and many more engineering services at competitive rates.
This business plan outlines the objective, focus and implementation of our business.
We will be discussing about the
overview of our business
Products and services which we offer
SWOT analysis
Competitive analysis
Marketing strategies etc.
2. VISION AND MISSION
VISION
To become a leading market player of 3D rendering and product animation industry. We want to stand in the market on the basis of trust and respect from the customers.
MISSION
Our mission is to provide better and high quality services to our customers so that they can become industry leaders in their respective field. We as a visualization company want to change the market by maintaining ethics that can turn up concepts into reality.
3. PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Basically our business is divided into two segments.
a. Services or Job work
b. Ready Products
Services or Job work- As we already have software like
Autodesk Maya
Autodesk Mudbox
Keyshot
Adobe Aftereffects
Adobe photoshop
Adobe premiere
These software are enough for our services but apart from this you may buy 3ds max. Which is very use full and technologically advanced software.
1. Engineering services –
To be more precise we will be providing services to mechanical engineering process. We will be designing models based on customer requirement. We will target those companies who uses photo images of their product on hoardings, brochures or other media. Our services will be useful for engineering firms to hive a 3D overview of the products to project managers and customers.
Engineers will not have to wait for days to have designs in their hand, they can immediately start working on their project.
2. Architectural rendering –
This is new for our firm but this sector will give a big push to our overall revenue because clients are ready to pay a good amount of money for outsourced rendering services. 3D rendering makes a walkthrough of the apartment or flat which gives a realistic view to the customer. It will include exterior and interior planning. We will make 3D photorealistic view as per AutoCAD designs provided by a client.
3. Product animation-
Many companies uses product animation services because it can effectively demonstrate products to the customers. We will make 3D illustrative videos and images for marketing and sales presentation, exhibition and trade show and training.
Few players in the market charge $500 to $1000 for a one minute video.
APART FROM THIS WE CAN CROSS SALE THE SERVICES TO THOSE WHO ARE BUYING READY PRODUCTS FROM US BECAUSE EVEN IF THEY DO NOT WANT READY PRODUCTS WE CAN CONVINCE THEM FOR DESIGNING SERVICES.
Ready products-
For this we need to buy a fused deposition modeling (FDM) printer because it is the simplest and most affordable 3D printing technology which may cost you around $1000. FDM printers use a thermoplastic filament, which is heated to its melting point and then extruded, layer by layer to create a 3D object.
Creating a 3D model of a product and making a replica is a dream come true for product development team in various industries because it is very easy to make revisions on designs according to feedback
This printer will be used to create molds and designs for various industries such as jewelry, automotive, toys.
Jewelry molds-
we will be selling jewelry molds to the jewelry industry because old methods like handcrafting and wax casting both require time and any mistake during production can prove expensive but today 3D printers have made this work easy. For this we will use CAD software tools to create the designs and a 3D printer that can be cast in the mold here target customers are small jewelers, goldsmith and casting companies.
Toy Industry-
Before launching a new product to the potential customers it is very necessary to transform our idea into final products. We will be targeting small toy manufacturing units because they outsource the 3D printing service. They make toy models to validate among distributers and potential users. 3D printers will help them to make changes in the prototype.
Healthcare industry-
Do you remember last time when you visited a dentist?
There was a paperweight which was looking like a tooth.
So here our target customer would be healthcare companies. We will provide them unique and attractive 3D models which they will use for marketing activity.
We can also connect with the companies those who make medical equipment and models. They make replicas of our body parts which are used for educational purpose in medical colleges and hospitals.
Food industry-
Food industry will be our next target customer obviously this could be the last thing on your mind when it comes to 3D printing.
They also use replicas of their products like burger, cold drink bottles, French fries and many more for their marketing purpose.
Local shops can also use this replicas.
For example “A cake shop” you must have seen that they have a counter full of cakes and pastries for display and suppose those display products are not sold for next few days and because of perishable in nature shop owners have to through this to dustbin which can be a big loss for them.
Now we can provide a solution, they may use our product replicas to their display and take orders from their customers accordingly.
There are many more industries where we can expand our business but initially I would recommend you to concentrate on these industries. Once you become comfortable you may get in touch with the automobile, engineering and aviation sector companies
4. INDUSTRY AND COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS
Before we move ahead with the industry analysis let us have a look on the SWOT analysis of our own business.
INDUSTRY ANALYSIS
3D rendering market is driven by the technologically advanced industries. The biggest challenge marketers’ face is demonstrating the product to the final customers.
Not only big firms but startup also face this issues because of lack of fund and 3D visualization could be economically beneficial for them.
Marketing and advertising agencies are rapidly adopting this technology because product visualization are enhanced and physical features of the products are well represented.
Construction and real-estate sectors are leading contributors getting attracted because of realistic prototype. They can demonstrate their project even before it is created actually.
COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS
As the completion is increasing we need to focus on R&D to differentiate our self from the other market players like.
Freelancers-
There are many freelancers who works on various platforms. We have a competitive advantage over them because they are not so technically advanced and the do not have specific platform to work and we have a complete setup and physical appearance in the market.
Big players-
There are few firms who works throughout the world and deliver services either online or through local vendors. They are already established in the market and doing well but if we take the correct measures we can still survive in front of them because their charges are too high and we can beat them by providing low cost products to the customers.

6. Conclusion
3D visualization has become a need of almost every industry. 3D visualization has changed the method of presenting products in front of potential customer.
There are lots of opportunities available in the market, we just need to grab the right path with systematic planning and execution.
