THE RENTER or his guests shall not disturb, cause nuisance or jeopardize the safety of neighbours as well as use the premises for perpetrating acts which contravene with the Law or common sense. It is strictly forbidden to wander around neighbouring private properties as well as making noise susceptible of disturbing the peace in the neighbourhood after 9 O’clock. Any complaint from the neighbours shall consequently result in the immediate cancellation of the security deposit refund.
During his stay, the renter is responsible for the property as well as keeping its content in a satisfactory state of cleanliness. Upon his departure, all objects must be returned to their original place unarmed. If bedding was opted at an additional fee, the cleaning of towels and bedding sheets supplied is under Chalets Arseneault responsibility. Any item with premature wear, breakage or damage shall be replaced and/or repaired by the owner at the renter’s expense. The renter must inform the owner of any disaster, minor deterioration, breakage or defect. He must also report them prior to his departure.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE: The cleaning and maintenance services are scheduled between departures and arrivals respectively at noon (12h) and 6 O’clock (6h). The time of departure is noon (12h) for all renters.
• Fireworks are not allowed under any circumstances.
• Please note that smoking is not allowed in all our cottages.
• Pets are allowed access under certain conditions; mentioned during the lease (10$ per day/ per pet). They must be kept under constant supervision, kept on leash while outdoor and their stools must be picked upon your departure.
• No pet is allowed in the spa or swimming pool (Additional cleaning and filter replacement fees apply if otherwise).
• If the SPA or swimming pool need to be drained (glass breakage, excessive filth and so on…) an additional charge of 250$ shall be applied at the renter’s expense + technician fees).
• The number of occupants mentioned during the signing of the contract must be respected. If additional people add up, the renter has an obligation to notify Chalets Arseneault.
• Having weapons in one’s possession as well as using such weapons is against our policy. These include, without limiting themselves to, paint guns and pellet or air guns.
• The minimum age required for groups comprised of young adults is 25 years old and over.
• Parties are strict Ly forbidden. The primary purpose of our Facilities is to provide a place of leisure, peace and quietness. All music or noise which can be heard outside the boundaries of the premises are striclty prohibited. Chalets Arseneault advocates for respect amidst the neighborhood
• We have fire logs at your disposal, at a cost of 40$, if the renter and his guests wish to light a campfire or use it in the fireplace found inside the cottages. The use of wood or branches (even dead ones) found on the ground or near the premises as well as cutting wood or branches around the lot is not allowed.
• In the advent of uncontrollable circumstances such as power outages, internet, cable or phone outages, Chalets Arseneault shall not be held accountable for any inconveniences sustained.
• No reimbursement or compensation shall be considered in the event of a late arrival or an early departure, and/or an incorrect date given by the renter.
- Please read carefully the instructions and advices regarding the use of the SPA and the swimming pool. They’re displayed on a wall near them.
• We are not responsible of any accidents or lost or stolen objects.
• It is your duty to call us 2 days in advance so to get the codes for the main entrance and the alarm system.
• All prices may be subject to change without notice.
• The first payment is immediate (and non-refundable) and the second payment will be made 30 days before your arrival (non-refundable).
The RENTER agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the landlord from and against any and all liabilities, loss or damage resulting from harm or prejudice caused or suffered on the rented premises by the RENTER, occupants or guests, or resulting from lack of prudence, negligence or misconduct from people entering, occupying or visiting the rented premises. The owner shall not be held responsible of any medical expenses or any other legal duty incurred by damages or injuries sustained on the premises.
The safety deposit shall be returned to you subsequently to the cottage’s inspection following your departure solely if no complaint were reported and if no breakage has been noticed.
This contract signed by the renter as well as the first payment must be sent to-24 hours following the reception of the latter by the renter, otherwise, the owner will cancel the booking and make the rental period available again
THE RENTER who infringes the contract terms shall be immediately denied the occupancy of the premises and damages will have to be repaired at his expenses, either they were caused by the occupant or his guests.
