I'm a co- founder-owner and creator of Filipino Virtual Assistance and allow me to share with you today how you can choose your freelancing niche. A lot of people would come into the freelancing industry not knowing the niche they can start with. This is important because this is where you need to be established as a freelancer. This is where you need to brand yourself in order for you to grow your freelancing as a business. So here are some of the steps on how you can go ahead and decide on a freelancing niche. 1. You have to start with the niche or the work that you have prior experience. Probably you used to go to work in office savings so you can be an administrative assistant or executive assistant or office assistant. Probably, you worked as a realty estate agent or broker so you come into the freelancing world to be a real estate professional or real estate virtual assistant. Probably you are an accountant or bookkeeper or an accounting tech so you come in as an online bookkeeper or financial manager or whatever it is that you would like to highlight that you know the job so you wanna just transition from the offline setting to the online world. 2. You have to start with the skill that you know. Probably, you are a fresh graduate, under your college graduate, you are a mother, father that you don’t have any experience working in an office setting at all. So you don’t have a previous experience that you can bring to the table. So start with that skill that you know. What is it that you know to serve clients the services that you can provide to clients? Probably, it is a PowerPoint p[resentation, probably it is online research, probably it is an entry, probably it is transcription. So you go ahead and start from there. Identify the skill you know and this can be a freelancing niche that you can start with. 3. The skills that you are going through in your training right now probably your are taking the Filipino Virtual Assistance Freelancing course and in that course, there is lead generation, email marketing, social media, SEO, Facebook ads you can choose any of those skills that you feel like more or inclined them and choose that skill as your freelancing niche. 1.Is that skill that your prior experience. 2. The skill that you can render to the client right away because you know how it’s being done. 3. The skill you are going through in your training right now is that you can go through and learn how to be an expert at the end of the month, something that you can already give to the clients. Now, these are just the niches that you can that you always rebrand or continue or grow from there. When you are able to go ahead just be a freelancing world it is the time now to identify your focused niche. 4. You need to go ahead and start with the skill that you can provide with good quality and expertise so probably as a graphic designer, probably as a video editor so this is a niche you know new strategies, you know go ahead rendered with capacity and you are going to asset the company so go and choose that niche. The niche that you are able to give to clients with your fullest potential.5. You need to go ahead and be established because the 1, 2, and 3 are the niches that can start with you know those are very niches probably you can ahead be established. Number 4 it's probably a season for you to go ahead and rebrand and focus on the niche that can go ahead and master or serve. In probably your very niche in 1, 2, 3, and 4and 5 are the same. Because number 5 is the niche now I'd like to propose skills that you would really like to enjoy working. When you can grow as in freelancing you need to be providing services and the niche that you blossom more. So probably it is social media, SEO it is real estate virtual assistant, project management, copywriting whatever it maybe it should be the niche at end of the day you are satisfied with. Because you don’t only know how to render that service you know the fullest potential and fullest productivity but you also enjoyed while working on it. It is a niche that brings out the creativity in you, a lot of satisfaction in you, a lot of fulfillment in you so you would feel rewarded and fulfilled at the end of the day so even if it would take years, years, and years. Even if there are teammates and clients that would be a little challenging to handle with you are blooming in the niche because is that niche or the still that you really enjoyed working. So again number 1 you can start the niche that you know how to do from previous experience. Number 2 you can also start with the niche that you know right now because of the skill that you can start with. Number 3 is a niche that you are learning in your online academy in your lesson, in your courses. Number 4 is the niche that you know how to go and render to the client with full capacity. Number 5 it's a niche that you enjoy working in that can grow your niche that can just grow from 1, 2 the 5 it can be all the same niche. Probably in number 2 that the time you ahead identify and it can be grown you can develop into the 5 of type niche you know. It's something that you know how to do and can give to the client. Eventually, the 5 high niches you really enjoyed or probably you reached number 4 and you are doing everything all over again because you have discovered that only your sub-services are not the main services okay. Because you have provided a lot of services you can provide SEO, web development but only you have focused on the niche that you feel like you are rewarded and you are growing, you are developing and enjoying at the same time. Because you can be going into niches that are very competitive and niches one very high when it comes to an hourly rate and the project contract. However, aren't you don’t rewarded by working on something that you want to enjoy? At the end of the day you feel toxic, it's stressful and you don’t like to work again on the next day. You can start with something that is very temporary or something that you can start with. Eventually, as a freelancer chooses in a niche that you can be established as a freelancer and this something enjoyed working that would be all for today.
