The founder of PlanetFx has had success in the Forex market for over 5 years, and started sharing some of the things he had learned along the way. He recognized these misconceptions concerning the business and wanted to educate traders about the ins and outs of the Forex market. Word spread about the founder’s advice and he was swamped with more interest than he ever anticipated. PlanetFx was founded in response to this overwhelming cry for help with the Forex market. Since its launch in 2015, the company has introduced many South Africans to Forex trading and has helped them achieved their financial dreams. OUR CORE SERVICES A unique aspect of this particular international market is there is no central marketplace for foreign exchange. Rather, currency trading is conducted electronically over-the-counter (OTC), which means that all transactions occur via computer networks between traders around the world, rather than on one centralized exchange. This means the that there is mobility and flexibility for traders, who can conduct business across the globe with simply an internet connection. The many hours that the market is open each week also means more opportuniy for traders. But, these advantages can also present a unique set of challenges, especially for those that are unfamiliar with this more modern trading system. As a business we strive to understand our clients on a personal level. Each comes to us with a varying amount of Forex knowledge and experience. Therefore as we embark on this journey together you can rest assured knowing that we seek the best for every client. The challenges that the market sets forth will vary based on the client, and we do not want to give general nonspecific help. We focus on each of our clients, work on individual strengths and weaknesses and develop action plans to help accomplish personal goals. We are here for the duration that it takes to master trading, We do this by introducing clients to Forex trading, mentoring and providing continuous support through the following ways. Training Our training covers market theory and familiarises clients with the inner workings of the market and Forex trading. We then progress to technical analyses and neutralise potential misconceptions and fears by explaining the psychology of trading. This training spans a period of three consecutive days with the last day focusing on an introduction to live trading. We know that time is precious and we maximize every minute to make sure that we can pass on everything needed to become an accomplished trader. Refresher We recognize that learning to trade in Forex takes time and a lot of practice. Because it is a process, it is beneficial refresh your knowledge along the way. The Refresher helps solidify the concepts that have been covered and emphasizes the essential characteristics of a successful trader. The Refresher is a one day course where questions can be answered and any topics that clients are struggling to understand can be reviewed. Because we want to see our clients succeed, the Refresher is mostly structured by the challenges that the group is experiencing. We use the questions that are raised before or during the course to guide the direction of the Refresher. Support Our clients are provided with twelve months of support after training is complete. We offer to connect with clients is whichever way is most convenient. We have support available via telephone, the web or even in-person when necessary. We are here for our clients, and so they decide how to receive support depending on the urgency or complicity of the problem. We know that continued support is key in successful Forex market trading, and are comitted to provide that support. LIVE TRADING SESSIONS There is only so much that can be taught through talking alone, sometimes seeing it firsthand is the best way to learn. We hold a session in which we make live trades with our clients present. The opportunity to participate in a Forex trading session while still in a classroom setting provides a unique environment to improve trading skills. This sessions allows clients to become confident with the decision making process, enforce what is learned in the course and how to manage the emotional aspect of trading. This is an all day engagement that lasts from 09:00 and 18:00. We want to do more than tell you how to succeed, we want to show you.
