Description
I worked directly with ten business owners and founders from Australia and the US.
Clients were in various industries: wholesale industrial fabrics, security, health and well-being, wealth management, aged care, business consulting, and mentoring.
I provided B2B consulting services focused on systems and processes, solving organisational issues, and training salespeople and management using the Iron Cage methodology. [Iron Cage is a sales intelligence system that helps optimise sales team performance.]

Deliverables
I worked closely with the CEO, development team, design team, and project manager to manage the stages of the product life cycle.
I Defined seven crucial processes that needed structure and improvement.
I wrote up 'CEOs' ideas for new features/plug-ins and created specification documents in Jira based on technical feasibility discussions with dev and design teams.
I made a product and feature Requirements Register: Google Sheet weekly tracker to manage workload and dependencies between teams, draft user stories, bring clarity, structure, and accountability, and improve teams' communication and collaboration.
I created and managed project boards for three new features development and design in Jira: [N-Tube, N-ew, N-Security].
Endeavoured feasibility, user stories, and a business case study of ideas; discussed with development and design teams; registered all inputs; shared with the CEO and team in huddles; held space for challenging conversations; and proposed next steps.
I facilitated team meetings using diary management and a project Kanban board on Jira. On Mondays, we set what needs to be done this week / the focus, and on Thursdays, we check on progress, issues, and dependencies.
I researched tech student clubs in Asia (for public testing), open-source collaboration, and new projects involving ChatGPT, AI, decentralised Internet, and mobile phone alternatives.
I supported the project manager in the recruitment process. (back-end dev, game dev).
I organised a new folder structure in Confluence, Atlassian.
I created pair-working handouts for new hires.
I tested the new OS and game centre.

The Problem
There needs to be more accountability, set deadlines, a sense of urgency, structures, and individual goal setting. (where do we want to be in a month, three, six, or one year?).
Leaders and teams need to understand the bigger picture. They have scattered minds and need help focusing on delivery.
The Solution
I worked with all 3 CEOs / Leaders on a 1:1 basis and in a group setting.
I created an accountability system (weekly team task tracker using Google Sheets, scheduled meetings, diary deadlines and crucial date events, and follow-ups via Slack).
I held 1:1 weekly sessions where we defined individual goals, named tasks, set priorities, identified bottlenecks and worked on mindset.
I held weekly leadership sessions where we reviewed business objectives and strategy (the bigger picture), identified areas for business improvements, agreed on actions and employee deliverables, tackled risks, issues, discrepancies and dependencies and celebrated weekly achievements.
We successfully improved operations, enhanced decision-making, and held individuals accountable for their actions and performance.
I kept track of deadlines and reminded everyone of their responsibilities for those deadlines (I created events in people's calendars and reminded them in the weekly meetings).
Result
A robust and accountable system means that the leadership knows what they are doing and where the business is going.
CEOs control the delivery and budget, meet deadlines, successfully manage the team offshore, and hold themselves accountable.
The leaders gained clarity about roles and responsibilities (as opposed to the confusion about who's doing what and who's responsible for what).
Space for fresh air and growth initiatives: We need to see more things to grow the business. What else can we do that will push the business forward?
Leadership aligned with business strategy and found joy again.
Energy, enthusiasm and output increased.
