Over the past 15 years, I have worked on a variety of web development projects, beginning my
career as a backend developer before transitioning into full-stack development. My technical
expertise includes PHP, Laravel, MySQL, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and
Bootstrap. In recent years, I have also gained foundational knowledge of React and Next.js,
re ecting the evolving needs of modern web development.
Over time, I advanced to a team lead role and, for the past 10 years, I have primarily served as a
product owner and project manager.
I have experience managing both on-site and remote teams, typically consisting of 3 to 7
developers. My responsibilities have included collaborating closely with key stakeholders to
gather requirements, de ne user stories, and ensure that increments and deliverables were
completed on time and within budget. Throughout my career, I have consistently focused on
fostering team productivity, maintaining clear communication, and delivering high-quality results.
Currently, I am pursuing PMP® (pmi.org) certi cation to further enhance my project management
expertise.
Projects
I have worked on various types of web applications, and I would like to highlight a few notable
projects:
News Web Portal
URL: avaz.ba (Some changes have been made to the portal since I left four years ago.)
I served as both the product owner and team lead for this project. The company, Avaz-roto press
d.o.o., based in Sarajevo, Bosnia, is the largest newspaper provider in the country and operates
one of the most visited news portals, averaging 1 million page views daily. I held this position for
ve years, leaving in 2021.
I was responsible for assembling a team of developers, including recruiting and onboarding, and
leading the development of a completely new web portal along with an administration panel for
journalists. I worked closely with key stakeholders throughout the project, gathering requirements
and ensuring their needs were met. This project was developed from scratch, without relying on
any CMS, and was successfully delivered within two and a half years.
The project was a signi cant success and contributed to the company's digital growth. However,
after ve years, my role transitioned into maintaining the project, which made me feel
underutilized. As a result, I decided to leave the position to pursue more challenging
opportunities.

University Information System
URL: uisbax.com
As highlighted in my CV, I am actively involved with universities, primarily because teaching is my
passion, and I truly enjoy transferring knowledge. While working in academia, I was asked to
serve as the project manager for a team tasked with developing a web-based, comprehensive
university information system. I took on this role, dedicating two years to the project, working
closely with the development team and university sta (sponsors and key stakeholders).
Due to my involvement in the teaching process, I had already gained valuable insights into some
of the requirements. However, I conducted numerous meetings, interviews, and other methods of
gathering requirements from stakeholders outside the teaching process, such as the nancial
department, library, HR, and others.
The product was successfully completed on time and is now o ered as a SaaS solution, currently
used by three universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina: International University Travnik, University
VITEZ, and University FinRa Tuzla. Like the news portal project, this system was also developed
from scratch without using a CMS.

eCommerce Website
URL: kupinarate.com
One of the notable eCommerce solutions I worked on is kupinarate.com, a classic web shop
featuring all standard eCommerce elements, including categories, products, a shopping cart, and
more.
The project spanned six months and was completed with a small team of developers. Thanks to
e ective collaboration and project management, it was successfully delivered on time and met all
expectations. This system was also developed from scratch without using a CMS.
Two Websites for the Same Client
URLs: libreclipart.org, libretemplates.com
This was my most recent project, where I served as both the product owner and project manager.
The project involved two separate websites for the same client. We had dedicated teams for
frontend and backend development, with the frontend built using Next.js and the backend
developed in Laravel/PHP with a MySQL database. Additionally, I managed a freelance DevOps
specialist responsible for infrastructure setup and deployment. Client RNB Graphics Mostar,
Bosnia.
The rst website was completed on time and within budget. Impressed by the quality of the
product, the speed of delivery, and the ease of communication, the client decided to entrust us
with a second project. Both websites were successfully delivered within six months, including
some additional requirements that I managed to integrate seamlessly into the development
process without a ecting timelines or quality.
Additional Projects
I have also worked on numerous other websites, including:
•
bpkg.gov.ba: A WordPress site developed with a custom theme.
•
pzunova.ba: Another WordPress-based project.
•
mobitrend.ba: A website developed using custom programming.
•
gearspot.ba: Another custom-programmed website.
•
epion.ba: A custom-programmed website
