JOINT – AFFIDAVIT We, ANISAH MACADAAG SARIP and AKISAH SARIP SULTAN, all of legal age and married, residents of Bubong Mama-anun, Piagapo, Lanao del Sur, after having been duly sworn to in accordance with law, hereby depose and say that: 1. We are some of the surviving children of Daag Soong Sultan who died last January 31, 2007; 2. We are his children with his first wife, our mother, Timbang Macapaar Sarip, who predeceased our father as she died last June 1, 1988; 3. After the death of our mother Timbang Macapaar Sarip, our father contracted a subsequent marriage to Monera Atucal Dimaporo on February 3, 1990; 4. From his subsequent marriage to Monera Atucal Dimaporo, he had begotten children namely Omielkhair Sultan Dimaporo and Abu-hanan Dimaporo Sultan; 5. Our father was single at the time that he and Monera Atucal Dimaporo got married. Hence, he had no legal impediment under the Civil Law to contract a subsequent marriage. Likewise, the required consent from the first wife under the Shariah Law was no longer applicable in his case; 6. Sometime in 1994, our father Daag Soong Sultan was hired as Security Guard at National Power Corporation (NPC), Pawak, Saguiaran, Lanao del Sur. From then on, he had been a member of the Social Security System (SSS) until his death; We are executing this Affidavit to support our claims as beneficiaries of our father Daag Soong Sultan in the Social Security System (SSS); I am executing this affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the foregoing facts and to support the filing of our claims as beneficiaries of the insured Daag Soong Sultan.
