month after month we visualize how the objectives are being achieved
despite the current scenario.
The month of September for Red Joven Venezuela was the beginning
of a new semester full of enthusiasm and, above all, many ideas to
achieve the objectives of our project: Participation for change. In
September, as every year, the International Day of Democracy was
celebrated and in this the young people of the network were very
active in their states and through campaigns on social networks, also
as always in September for 5 years we joined the Papagayos activity
for the peace of Funda Epekéina.
A month full of good vibes and a lot of enthusiasm in all our locations,

Young Network of the Month
We present to you one of the people
who has worked the longest in his
state and without a doubt an example
for the Young Venezuela Network,
“approximately 3 years ago I began to
be part of this Organization through the
3rd National Meeting in the City of
Caracas” . Juan Noguera, 24 years old,
lives in the Churuguara Parish,
Federation Municipality of the State of
Falcón, doing a Bachelor's Degree in
Industrial Engineering at the Francisco
de Miranda National Experimental
University.
The contingency is a challenge for him, they led him to execute
innovative ideas to train young people, but even the public policies of
the region do not collaborate for development. “It is not a reason to
give up, but it is something that has allowed me to continue fighting
and working with resilience in the face of whatever challenge I
present.”

The commitment he has had during these years gives a lot to talk
about him, to continue fighting so that his person and all those around
him can advance politically, socially and economically. "Since he has
allowed me to train and be a better leader in my State every day, he
has allowed me to grow personally and professionally."
"I consider that I am willing to continue working, promoting training at
my headquarters, which allows for the formation of new leaders willing
to work for a change in the country." This type of young person has an
important added value for the community, unique personalities
strengthen the identity of this NGO and without a doubt Juan is one of
them.

international day of peace, its origin and importance. Both children and young people
and adults participated with the idea of s preading this message to other people, so that
with messages without violence they can encourage the rescue of a full democracy both
in the state of Sucre and in the rest of the country.
Apure Headquarters
Rafael Pacheco in the state of Apure led a confectionery training in the 13 de Septiembre
neighborhood, raising community training to a new level, so that there is an advance in
the purchasing power of the people who live in this sector. Being more active and with
the support to obtain new strategies, they give life to the new Venezuelan.

Ethics and values:
organizations
role
of
citizens
and
The crisis in which we find ourselves is becoming more and more
noticeable and, what is worse, it is taking a long time. Some experts
predict that we will get out of it, but slowly. But this is not only in the
hands of multilateral organizations; such as the UN, WHO, European
Union, International Monetary Fund, among others. It also depends on
all of us. We must not passively wait for solutions from “above” or
“social achievements”.
In the midst of the pandemic crisis that humanity faces today, and that
compromises our present and our future in many ways, what is the
role that ethics plays or should play, both in the daily actions of civil
society, and in the behavior of citizens?
It is time to give importance to the values o f ethics (responsible
freedom, plurality, universalist solidarity, respect and attitude of
dialogue). The economic and social crisis as a consequence of said
pandemic is going to require strong political and economic
organizations to watch over the millions of people who are becoming
unemployed, or with jobs that do not allow them to lead a decent life,
adding to this the economic crisis and politics totally unrelated to the
COVID-19 that Venezuela has been experiencing for years, is an
extremely terrifying scenario for the Venezuelan.
Indeed, the citizen has a very important role in society. It should not be
tolerated that politicians areTranslation
more aware» of the elections than of the
p
common good (although this is not unthinkable in the Venezuelan
scenario). We cannot be citizens who are not committed to caring for
others. We must all adopt a greater commitment to mutual
cooperation, in support of the most vulnerable people: the poor, the
elderly, the disabled, children and young people, abused women, the
sick, animals, among others.
It should be underlined that progress must be made towards a new
financial and social order that allows States to provide quick solutions
to those affected by COVID-19 in the social and economic sphere, so
that the weakest can be strengthened. We need to face future crises
together. It is important for governments to be more responsible,
humanitarian organizations and citizens in general. We need an ethic
of responsibility, we must act with great attention to both the positive
and negative consequences of what we do, but giving priority to the
consequences on the most vulnerable people.
Likewise, all people must be empowered, so that they are less
vulnerable. As an organization it is our duty to provide tools that
empower the greatest number of people in Venezuela.
What kind of values a nd actions should we exercise as citizens and
organization?
1. Do not promote hatred and contempt towards the other, comments
on social networks, unconfirmed rumors and other messages that
encourage negative actions. Instead, we must convey only
messages of hope, belonging and responsibility.
2. See the world objectively and not let yourself be swamped by
difficulties.
3. Help others to the extent that is within our reach, starting with the
most needy people (neighbors, family members who are
experiencing financial difficulties, friends who need company and
consolation, among others).
4. We must commit to denouncing abuses and injustices that we can
observe in our closest environment (family, neighbors, municipality,
state, organizations, among others.)
5. We must commit ourselves, each one to the extent of our
possibilities, to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals

(2030 agenda) to start projecting our actions fulfilling each
(2030 agenda), to start projecting our actions fulfilling each
objective one by one.
6. It is time to discover what we can contribute to those around us, we
are all valuable for the common good; dispose ourselves to give that
contribution as people, as citizens and as an organization, giving the
best example that we are capable of giving.
From Red Joven Venezuela it is time to remain committed as an organization to promote
ethics and citizen values i n each young Venezuelan from small actions, in the midst of this
pandemic crisis our work is of the utmost importance to achieve the country we want to
build. It is time to fulfill our duties and demand our rights, thus being authentic citizens who
fight and work day by day from every corner of the country, from our new project- Participation for change we must rescue and strengthen democracy in Venezuela
from our actions training, it is time to remain committed.

This month, entering the digital world, we have on Youtube the
Ruzzarin Bros Podcast and the episode Public Policies to Reduce
Class Inequality. It is a conversation between four Mexicans about
politics in their country, a material where you can find both similarities
and differences in the Venezuelan reality. This is a sample of how
democracies move in other countries, the perspective they have in
Mexico on the issues that we also handle in our country; They address
community leadership, political transparency, populism, suffrage and
much more. In one hour a very fruitful and thoughtful talk is proposed.
