Nut Milk bags are amazing, versatile and so
easy to use. It's like having a portable juicer
right in the palm of your hand.
You, of course can use them for nut milks,
which I will get to in a moment, but you can
also use them for fruits and vegetable juices as
well. Really, anything that can be blended,
pored and then squeezed through the bag
holes can work.
I love my nut milk bag and use it for a variety
of things on a regular basis. I hope you get to
know and love your nut milk bag soon too!
Nut milk bags, not just for nut milk...
Below are a few of my favorite nut milk bag
recipes that I would like to share with you
now.
I encourage you then to get creative and think
of a few ideas that you can use
your nut milk bag for too!

YUMMY, EASY, HEALTHY
AND HOMEMADE
Oat Milk
Ingredients:
½ CUP SOAKED, STEEL CUT OATS
6 CUPS COLD WATER
Directions:
Soak organic steel cut oats for at least 4 hours
Drain and rinse the oats well
Place the soaked oats into blender, vitamix, or nutribullet
container
Then add indicated amount of water into the container
Secure lid and blend until its all blended well together.
Place your nut milk bag into and over a vessel big enough to
hold all the liquid
Pour through the fine mesh so it catches all the leftover
sediment
Then squeeze the rest of the liquid through your nut milk bag
into your holding vessel
Discard the sediment left in the bag and refrigerate your oat
milk for up to 5 days in a sealed container
You will see sediment on the bottom of your container so just
shake well before each use.
You can try adding a date or two, some vanilla extract and/or
salt when blending for different variations
Coconut Milk
Directions:
Ingredients:
2 CUPS WATER
1 CUP SHREDDED
COCONUT
Place water then coconut shreds into blender,
vitamix, or nutribullet container
Secure lid and blend until its all blended well
together and the coconut cannot blend anymore
Place your nut milk bag into and over a vessel big
enough to hold all the liquid
Pour through the fine mesh so it catches all the
leftover sediment
Then squeeze the rest of the liquid through your nut
milk bag into your holding vessel
Discard the sediment left in the bag and refrigerate
your milk for up to 5 days in a sealed container
You will see sediment on the bottom of your
container so just shake well before each use.

OF COURSE, YOU HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO MAKE NUT MILK
WITH A NUT MILK BAG AND THE DIRECTIONS ARE JUST AS
EASY AS THE MILK VARIATIONS I LISTED ABOVE.
BEST NUTS ARE
Cashews, Almonds,
or Macademia nuts.

Vegetable & Fruit
Juices
are so healthy and easy to prepare in the nut milk bag and the best part is it is so
much quicker and easier to clean than a juicer, so much cheaper and works just as
good!
Now, you won't have pure juice, it will be a mixture in water so keep that in mind. But
you can add as much or as little water as your blending container can handle and
custom the best mix for you. Your only limitation to what you can create in your nut
milk bag is you and your imagination.
Essentially, you can add any type of fruit, vegetable or combination of such to 3-4
cups of water
Blend well and squeeze through.
Discard the fruit and or vegetable fiber, wash your bag and there you have a
healthy and home made fruit, vegetable or combination in mere moments.
Adjust any amounts of the fruit, vegetable or water to get the perfect consistency
and thickness you’re looking for and create your own signature recipes.
My favorite vegetable juice is a simple celery and water.
Add 2-3 stalks celery to as much or as little water as you would like
I use very little water in my celery juice, just enough to make the blender functional.
Follow instructions above.
Now you can add other things like lettuce, cucumber, lemon or
tomatoes to this mix as well and make your own home made V8.
I ENCOURAGE YOU TO EXPERIMENT WITH THIS AND JUST HAVE FUN!
Cranberry
Juice
I love my own home made cranberry juice as well
You can use fresh or frozen cranberries for this recipe,
about 1/2-1 cup worth
Blend in a cup of filtered water
You can add lime to this recipe as well.
You can throw in some lime slices when blending,
squeeze in the juice of a lime after blending or add a
drop of a good quality, 100% pure lime essential oil
Squeeze your mix through your nut milk bag into 2-3
more cups of water and mix well.
Discard the cranberry fiber and wash nut milk bag
well
Cranberries are pretty sour so you will want to add a
sweetener to this recipe.
I like to use raw honey or a few drops of good quality
stevia to taste.
STORE IN A SEALED CONTAINER AND REFRIGERATE.
