READING BOOKS
AND HOW THEY CAN
INFLUENCE OUR
LIVES
Our parents try to get us
used to reading as sooner
as possible. Why? They
can already understand how important it is for every
human being, and of course every parent wants their
child to be educated, to have an open mind and to
have a good, beautiful speech. But not every child wants
to read, whatever book it is.
Being children, we don’t admire reading. Books seem to
be boring, geeky, we can’t concentrate on what we
read and the words that we catch, just don’t make any
sense together. The special kind of evilness is the books
with no illustrations. One will never be able to make a
child to read, if there is no pictures. We all know, that
every short story, poem or fairy tale will lose it’s sense if
there’s no at least one picture. Mostly it is explained by
the fact, that some reading can have many unknown
words for child in it, but also the pictures are needed,
because it makes the kid turn his/her phantasy on and
contamplate, how the described characters and events
would look like in real life.
Alternatively, when we grow up, and already become
conscientious of our lives, we want to be more educated,
have bigger dictionaries in our heads and just evolve. We
begin to read books. Firstly, it’s usualy some fictional
books, some novels, love stories, phantasy stories etc.
Later, when we already don’t want to use books as a way
of recharging and resting, we start to read some nonfictional literature. We become interested in some
science, in real stories of people’s lives, try to learn some
lesson from what we read. And this is already the best
and most useful part of reading.
When we read a book, we usually meet loads of new
words, that are synonims to the simple words that we
know. When we see them in some context, we remember
the new words, and can start to use them after it, and
they become the part of our active vocabulary, what
makes the level of our education higher. This is the first
reason, why we shouldn’t omit reading books.
The second reason is actually more for people,
connected to art. I mean, any art: drawing, dancing,
singing, writing, photography, video editing etc. Reading
anything, we always imagine what we read,
subconsciously. We see different pictures, that brightly
illustrate what we see. This makes our phantasy work,
which makes it brighter and stronger. And any person,
who is somehow connected to art, knows how important
this is, to be able to illustrate something in your mind, to
visualize what you want to make.
Well, I guess, we have defined, that reading is important
for everyone, no matter what you read it will be useful for
you and your brain.
