Publicist Relations Announcement
GOTHAM CITY TOURISM BOARD
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 2015
It’s springtime in Gotham, we invite you to come see the apple trees blossom.
Spring in Gotham is the most tranquil, it’s the perfect time to take a tour of our historical
monuments, architecture and special events. This weekend is the Bruce Wayne
Downtown Art Festival.
Come one come all, tourists from home, tourists from abroad. Whether you're traveling for
recreation, leisure, religious, family or business purposes, Gotham is perfect for you.
Anyone savvy of Gotham’s prior crime issues, or know of the Batman, will be pleased to
hear that both crimes, and the Batman has been absent for the last ten days. If you ever
wanted to visit Gotham, now is the most ideal time.
Gotham City is a town full of rich history and breathtaking architecture and is its most
alluring in the spring. Thanks to the combined efforts of the Detective James Gordon,
District Attorney Harvey Dent and The Batman, we are experiencing a crime free city. We
have several places you can visit The Gotham City Museum of Natural History, Gotham
City Zoo, Grand Avenue, Gotham Village, the Gotham City Performance Art Center or The
Bruce Wayne Downtown Art Festival.
Gotham is located on the northeastern coast of the United States. It is on the southern
coast of New Jersey, across the Delaware Bay from Metropolis.
“If you want an experience you will remember the rest of your life, come visit
Gotham," says Earl Garrison CEO of Gotham City Tourism Board.
About Gotham City
John Logerquist founded Gotham in 1635. It was presumably named after a village in
England, famous for its wise fools. At the time, it was just a small outpost in the mostly
unexplored New World. However, as more and more immigrants came over from Europe it
began to grow.
